Courtney and I have lived in Somerville for ten years and we love it. Funky, great access to Boston but with a small city feel. We can't wait to share our place with you!

Kevin and Courtney have a lovely home, and they were very accommodating. I was hosting my family for the holidays, and they let me come stock the fridge a day before the family's arrival. The kitchen is great for cooking and enjoying company in the open dining area. They even had a Christmas tree up, which added icing to the cake. The TV is in a small, back room, which was nice for keeping the living room open for more hanging out and chatting.
I'm biased about the neighborhood (I live nearby and love it) but my family enjoyed taking walks in the neighborhood and met several neighbors on the way.
Kevin was a perfect host and his house was fantastic. He was great at communicating, provided clear instructions, and had a detailed guide to the house and neighborhood. The house was super clean, neat and organized, comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. I would highly recommend this place.
Kevin's place is immaculately clean and comfortable and a very welcoming place to stay. It's a home renovated and maintained with thought and love. Great affordable base to explore Boston. Parking a perk. Thanks both.
This was a wonderful airbnb experience! Kevin and Courtney were wonderful hosts, leaving a very thorough binder with area recommendations and info on their home (and treats!). The house was beautiful, clean and spacious; it was a pleasure to stay there. If we need to be in the Boston area again, this will be our first choice.
My wife, her elderly parents and I spent two nights at Kevin and Courtney's lovely home in Somerville. Even though we didn't meet them in person they welcomed us with a lovely note and a care package of local treats.
The couple's love of the Somerville neighbourhood is very apparent and highly infectious. I'm sorry that we didn't have more time to explore the area which is clearly up-and-coming.
The house is large, clean, comfortable and very welcoming. Truly a home away from home.
The stairs to the second floor are quite steep and posed a bit of a challenge for my father-in-law who suffers from mobility issues. As lovely as the house is I wouldn't recommend it for elderly renters that don't do well with stairs.
Otherwise, I can't recommend it enough. A truly lovely place to stay.
Kevin is a great host and his house is a lovely place to stay. We arrived in the dark, later than planned and slightly weary after a long day's travelling. And then walked into this amazingly beautiful, stylish house, in a cute, quiet neighbourhood. The photos don't actually do the reality justice - it's even nicer! The Wifi is excellent, the beds comfortable, the water hot and plentiful and the hosts are generous enough to provide some basics plus a few luxuries! When things are this nice I'm amazed anyone bothers with hotels anymore. Somerville is nice - certainly still coming up in the world but already has a many interesting places to eat and drink especially in and around nearby Union Square. When not walking we used the Yellow and Green Cab company, based in Somerville and they turned up on time or sooner without exception. Journey time to downtown was about 15 mins, and to Logan it's around 20-30. All in all from our POV a perfect Airbnb experience.
Kevin couldn't have been any more accommodating. We were traveling late at night and he made us feel very comfortable with the entire arrival process.
The home is absolutely lovely and in a quiet neighborhood. That said, access to the greater Boston area was at our fingertips.
The photos on the website do not do this home justice. It was even nicer than we expected. We are so glad the home was available when we needed a wonderful place to stay.
Needed a place to stay short notice and Kevin responded quickly to my inquiry. The house was fantastic and the accommodations were phenomenal. Everything in the house was accessible and instructions left were clear and concise. Really enjoyed our stay and without a doubt, we'll be staying there again next time we're in Boston.
Our family stayed here only one night en route to Maine, two adults with three college age kids. We loved the place! Eclectic style, clean and very comfortable. Didn't get a chance to meet Kevin and Courtney in person, but the notebook they put together was a valuable guide to Somerville. Fair warning: if you eat at Kelly's diner, the portions are gigantic! We'd definitely recommend staying here.
This was our first trip using airbnb and won't be our last! The house was amazing, while not as kid friendly (mostly for fear of something nice being broken on accident) we had no issues.
Kevin and his wife left a great little binder with house rules (nothing crazy or that I wouldn't have asked of anyone staying in my house) and some great landmarks/things to check out in the area including union square donuts! He was available and extremely helpful with any requests or needs as well.
Bottom line we would stay there again and recomend to anyone looking for a nice place in quiet neighborhood just outside Boston.
Intelligent, well-mannered and charming couple. We loved hosting them and sincerely hope we will have the opportunity again in the near future
Kevin and Courtney had a whirlwind stay with us so we didn't really get a chance to get to know them. They were delightful guests though -great communication, easy-going and appreciative. We hope they'll be back for a longer stay next time!
Kevin and Courtney were an absolutely delightful couple to have as guests. Fun, interesting conversationalists, whom I wish were going to could have stayed longer-like at least several months! I hope that they return from the far away state of Massachusetts some day soon.
