I was born and raised in the Philippines but has been living here in LA since 1996. I work at UCLA as a nurse and I supervise the Adult Psychiatric floor. My husband works as an Information Security Manager at RAND Corp. We have a 24 year old daughter who currently lives with us while pursuing a degree also in Nursing. We also have two small rescued white poodle mix that we love dearly- I take them everywhere I go except work and when we travel oversees. We enjoyed traveling to places that is not tourist bound and like my husband said once- we like to feel uncomfortable when we travel oversees (trekking without tour guides, staying in huts, mingling with the locals, etc). Our last travel was at Borneo and we hiked up Mount Kinabalu then rocked climbed on the way down- Mount Kinabalu has the highest Via Ferrata! We also support and practice green living as much as we can and definitely enjoys getting our produce from the local growers. We live in Marina del Rey & I drive a Vespa scooter to get to work. Hubby enjoys his bike ride to work- more green than me. Company such as airbnb is one of the greatest innovation to support the local economy- and so far, we're hooked with the places they have to offer.
