Pierre from Bourgogne working in Paris
We had a great time staying in Pierre's apartment. Plenty of space for a couple, and a fantastic location in Bastille, right near Oberkampf and the Marais. Pierre was really nice and we pretty much had everything we needed, only things missing were a kettle and tea towel for dishes.
We'd definitely stay again and highly recommend this apartment, was great value for such a low price.
Pierre's place is in a fantastic location: next to the places to go out, eat and close to several metro stations. It also has all you might need for a couple of days i.e. its well equipped. Pierre is also very helpful and easy going - a great trait! Hence, for a couple, a great place to stay and enjoy Paris. We were in 3 and then the place becomes a bit too small. If you are planning of spending time in the flat, than this is not a place for you as it is practical but not cosy or homely ecc. I would have liked it to be slightly cleaner too. This said, if you planning on going out and enjoying the city, this is the place to stay.
We had a wonderful stay at Pierre's place. Central location, clean, well designed apartment with access to a number of metro stations. For 2 people it's really spacious and quaint. We would definitely recommend it to anyone considering a stay in Paris. The area was quiet and comfortable.
Realmente fue encantador quedarme en lo de Pierre. Su departamento es buenisimo, muy bien equipado, comodo y excelentemente bien ubicado. Y el es muy amable y me recibio excelentemente. Gracias Pierre!!!
Everything was how it was supposed to be. We were really happy with the apartment and quiet building. A real Parisian home!
Thank you Pierre!
Great apartment in a very central part of Paris. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need. The bathroom and shower are cosy, but the shower is powerful and always hot. Pierre was really friendly and allowed us to leave our luggage in the flat until the afternoon we left. Easy walking distance to several Metro stations, 2 great patisseries, a supermarket and some nice restaurants.
The only downside was the lack of internet, but we were there for a long weekend, so it wasn't too big a deal. Remember that it's on the third floor with no lift and to bring your own towels, as they're not provided.
A really lovely apartment in a quieter part of town (much less of a tourist vibe than other parts of Paris I've stayed). Kitchen is compact but very usable, heaters were very effective, good hot water service. Pierre was very helpful, met us at the apartment and took time out from work to do so. No problems at all, other than having some trouble with the washing machine but that was strictly our non-French-speaking fault! Would definitely stay again! Thanks Pierre.
Pierre is a very nice host and his apartment is in a great location. The apartment was very clean and quite spacious for Paris however the comfort was a bit basic in some respects (wobbly bed and no toilet paper!).
I would recommend this apartment nonetheless since it's clean, a good location and at a good price.
Thank you Pierre!
Pierre's a fantastic host – really helpful, accomodating and always responds to requests really quickly. The flat's location is indeed perfect - it's such a fantastic area in Paris so ideal for anyone looking to discover the city.
My boyfriend and I spent his birthday in Paris, in Pierre's apartment and it was absolutely fabulous! The area around Rue Saint-Sabin is great and the apartment was exactly what we were looking for. As it was my first time using AirBnb, I've been a little nervous about everything, but the apartment looked exactly like on the pictures, even better. Also, I've been nervous about housebreakers, but the apartment building was very safe and the door to our apartment also (lots of locks)!!
The kitchen is very nice, as you can see on the pictures. The bed was very comfortable and big (with a big blanket for two). The bathroom is not very big, but also very comfortable - plenty of warm water, which was great for a stay in Paris in November. Behind the bathroom there is also a small room where you can put and dry your laundry.
The apartment is perfect for discovering Paris, as Pierre says. Your directly located between Bastille and Rue Oberkampf, with many bars, restaurants and cafes, boulangeries etc. and about 6min in each direction to the Metro. Definitely one of the best places to stay. Rue Saint-Sabin is not a loud street with many cars, so you get to sleep very quiet at nights. I we ever come back to Paris, I will try to stay at Pierre's again! He's been a nice host and gave us some good advices for buying food etc. So I can recommend him very much. Thank you for a really really nice stay!
