Retired ex teacher, engineer, & numerous others from rough neck to working in a call centre. Spent 20 years working in the Middle East including Egypt, Kuwait, Saudi, UAE. Also taught in England where I was born, & still have a home, as well substitute teacher in PEI.
Traveled thru out the ME including Jordan, Oman, Syria, Turkey & Israel. Also in other countries in Europe, Asia, S Pacific & Central America. In 2002 drove from UAE to UK through Saudi, Jordan, Syria, Turkey, Greece, Italy, Switzerland & France.
Now enjoying sailing, cycling, reading, staying healthy & fit, & the simple things in life.
Presently reading Churchill by John Keegan, favorite film director Clint although not sure about his politics, classic jazz, blues seen many from Duke Ellington to Eric Clapton. Pig out on South Asian cuisine even cook my own when there is no alternative, also vegetarian.
