Lance was great, the apartment was amazing, nothing but good things here. Would stay again.
This place is so cool. Up a few flights of stairs and through a series of doorways you'll find yourself in a wonderfully large space with huge windows and a great view of the Empire State Building. The sounds of the street are ever-present but the complimentary ear plugs took me right out of it and into sleep. Location is fantastic too with all of LES just steps away.
Lance was absolutely charming. He is the perfect host. The studio is large and stylish with wonderful views. In the surrounding area are many good eating options within walking distance. I thoroughly recommend staying here!
The apartment is exactly as described. A large apartment with wonderful light and great views...with accomodating hosts! It is loud (as described) even by Lower East Side AirBNB standards. On the whole it is definitely worthwhile if you are comfortable with a significant amount of noise
Lance was a very welcoming host, couldn't ask for more. The apartment is exactly as shown, with great light and open space. The noise from the street is initially slightly distracting, but would certainly not deter me from staying here again. The apartment is in a great area with easy access to restaurants/bars/subway. Would certainly stay again. Thanks, Lance!
We loved staying at this studio. It is spacious, unique, and well located on the lower east side. Just to be clear, it is an artists studio without a kitchen. I think this is well documented in the listing. There is a refrigerator and tea kettle, however.
Checking in and out was exceptionally easy since the host lives nearby. I read others complain about street noise in other reviews. I am from an urban area in Boston, so it didn't particularly bother me. The host graciously left some disposable earplugs on the nightstand just in case. I would certainly come back here.
Lance prepared the place more than I anticipated, it was great! The description of the place and photographs are an excellent guideline, and the neighborhood has a great location!
Lance was a great host very helpful ,the apartment is very cool though I think the noise from the street below is underestimated, it is non stop 24 hours and at one point I was looking forward to getting back to the relative peace of London! ,triple glazing the windows would (website hidden) would adding some basic cooking facilities to give the option to have food in the apartment. Great location though .
Kenny and his friend were great guests. I missed the chance to review them but would love to have them back. Thanks for the tips on the windows!
Great LES loft in perfect location.
Yes it's noisy (per previous reviews), it's supposed to be, it's NYC!
Good facilities & ultra comfy bed.
Lacking a kitchenette, but surrounded by great cafes & restaurants, so not a big issue.
Lance is a great host, friendly & happy to recommend local sights, restaurants, etc.
Would highly recommend staying with Lance. We will be visiting again.
We stayed 4 days. Location is excellent. The studio is beautiful, it has really big windows on two walls, it is really a large space. We did not suffer from the lack of kitchen or from the noise outside (you should wear ear plugs while sleeping). The views are outstanding.
Lance was here to welcome us though we were kind of late. He made sure we felt comfortable and answered all our questions.
We did not see him while leaving the flat but received a thank you SMS when we were at the airport.
This is a good place to stay.
