Leda is awesome! We ended up staying in two different flats within this one apartment building. Leda has an office on the main floor and she can frequently be reached in person to help with any need you may have. Otherwise she is easily accessible by phone/text or through AirBnB’s message system. She is a wonderful, smiling host/landlady and we would recommend working with her without hesitation. This was our first visit to Turkey and though we planned to spend time in different cities, we ended up just staying in Istanbul. So this became our haven and hub. This neighborhood might best be described as “gritty.” The constant chorus of vehicle horns, voices that carry and general urban undercurrent of fracas do not make for a particularly restful stay. That being said, Leda’s Flats are still a bit of an oasis in a sprawling city. If you are arriving here with several bags, you will likely want to take a taxi. Leda will send you directions in Turkish to help the driver. The first few days we were in the garden apartment which is very new and comfortable. It is even a little quieter in that it faces the alleyway instead of the main road. Linens, utensils, toaster were all available and when we asked for a warmer blanket after the first night we received a comforter promptly the next day. If you have limited mobility the staircase might not be workable for you, otherwise a great place. But we had no WIFI access in the garden flat, so it was not possible to do our work. After talking to Leda she arranged for us to move up to the 4th floor (5th storey) when that flat was available. We spent the rest of our week there and the WIFI access was great. A much bigger apartment with two bathrooms and two bedrooms, showing a little wear but still extremely nice and comfortable. (We wished this flat had had a toaster, too!) The bedroom here has a wonderful blackout curtain. There is an adorable, modern elevator servicing all the upper floors. These flats are just off the main drag of Kurtulus Caddesi packed with every kind of shop you can imagine with everything you could need… except maybe peace and quiet. There are two bus lines that start/end right at the corner. There is a newspaper stand there where you can top off your Istanbullkart. And we ended up taking the buses a lot to get to funiculars and other buses. We also waked all the way to and from Taksim and Nisantasi once or twice, but would not recommend that as a daily habit (it really is uphill in both directions)! We decided to avoid the taxi’s as we kept getting ripped off. Leda does offer to call taxi services from the flats to avoid scamming. She even offered to talk to taxi drivers via phone, but we only did that once when the driver was having trouble finding...
Leda was very friendly and helpful and her place was very clean. Thanks you and I would stay here again.
Thank you Seth. Looking forward to meet you again.

Perfect, perfect, perfect! To meet Leda and Orcun ist the very best that could happen to you in this amazing city.
The apartment is spacious, clean, well equipped, friendly and full of positive energy. Perfectly located in a sympatic native quiet area !!!!), but same time close enough to all important spots to explore Istambul.
We had a wonderful time, Leda and Orcun are all time ready to help in any case of via any way of communication. (SMS; Viber, Phone, ect. ect...)

Leda and Orcun are great hosts, very helpful. The apartment was clean, with everything necessary one may need. Distance to Taksim square is not far even by foot so we never used a taxi to get there. Definitely recommend to stay here. Thank you)
Definitely a nice experience and practical and clean house. House was exactly as pictured.
We enjoyed our stay very much. Leda and her team we're all very helpful and kind.
Their office is situated right downstairs of the house, which really makes things easy and reliable.
Location is good. You can get to Taksim square and Istiklal Caddesi in 5minutes / 10TL with taxi.
Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others too.
We really satisfied of nice, clean, large apartment. Leda is very friendly, caring and attentive girl!
Leda and her partner went out of their way to make our stay in Istanbul a good one. They helped us with airport transfers to and fro and guidance on where to go in the city. The apartments were lovely, comfortable, and clean. They had all the amenities a modern travel would need. We are definitely heading back to Istanbul in the near future and we pray that Leda's apartment is available during our stay.
The flat is big and new! I passed a real good experience with my family, I recomend it.
The flat is just great!
We have stayed there on our business trip for 11 days during which the owners of the apartment were extremely friendly and helped us with each single issue we faced: arranging taxis and cars, communications with drivers, suggestions regarding the restaurants and places to visit, locations of the post offices and some stores. They even went with us to help us to buy local sim cards and exchange currency.
The apartment is very spacious, clean and cosy. It has a living room, 2 quite big bedrooms, a kitchen and 2 bathrooms which is not so common for Turkey. The location is very nice: it is 10 mins by foot to Taksim square and metro station, and for those who don’t want to climb a hill there is another metro station called Osmanbey pretty close. The Kurtulus Street has everything needed: restaurants, cafes and supermarkets.
We are really grateful to Leda, Orçun and their family for warm reception and we will definitely be back!
