Piano is a charming and helpful host. The apartment is well located in the Travelers district of Rome. It is spotlessly clean and very quiet.
We really enjoyed our stay at LaZotta. The accommodation was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The neighbourhood was beautiful and convenient to walk to many of the sites. Pia was very friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend in Rome.
Even better than the pictures suggest. Perfect position, kind of equi-distant from all the major landmarks, as well as the Vatican and right in the heart of Trastevere, surrounded by restaurants and bars that start about 200 metres to the south. Nice simple breakfast ready each morning, nice and quiet street, modern fittings in a lovely old building, great bathroom (warning - the hot water takes a while to come through but it's perfect once it gets hot!) and excellent wifi. Love.
Only issue really was that we didn't stay long enough - 4 days wasn't enough to scratch the surface!
Pia is warm and inviting and had several helpful hints for seeing Rome. Pia was also quick with response and booking.
B&B La Zotta is a real hidden treasure in Roma Close to Trastevre, the Vatican and a 15-20 minute walk from the Colosseum this place is great. The rooms have great light for when you're indoors and its quite picturesque.
secret Tip!!! BB LA ZOTTA is a hidden treasure in the middle of Rome!! It literally is a TREASURE!! everything was perfect!! I could have not asked for anywhere better to stay. I loved the privacy and quietness you get when you come back from a intensive day of exploring Rome. its quiet and peaceful and still perfectly centered! Pia is a wonderful host. she is very caring and helpful if you need any help or information about Rome! Everything is very clean and lovingly decorated. I will definitely come again!! :)
la palazzina è nel cuore di Trastevere, ma in un angolo molto tranquillo e non rumoroso, volendo si può anche parcheggiare nei dintorni facilmente, quando i varchi aperti permettono l'accesso. la consiglio
***** five stars! Thanks for having me. The place is in such a great location, and has a homey feel, the area feels safe and everything is clean and works perfectly. Pia got back to all my messages promptly and her son was the perfect host, so helpful polite and friendly!
Coffee in the morning was delicious and there was home made cake too. The street is so quiet despite being close to all the action.
The only thing that I would say is that I was a bit unsure of this b&b when I booked as there were no pictures of the bed or the shower- so just to be completely transparent, the bed is a single sofa bed and the the shower is a small shower/ toilet combo - but dont let this deterr you!
It is homely, and the bed is super comfortable and they have been as effective with the space as possible. Love the art on the walls also. The hospitality is awesome I couldnt have felt more welcome and looked after
~Thank you so much Pia and Family! Will stay again soon
It was a great stay in a great place with wonderful people and I am sure I´ll be back again because there is no place like that in Rome! I have lived in different places in Rome but I have never been yet in such a place where I felt being home.
Thanks to Pia and her nest!
Sehr zu empfehlen!
This is a great property in Trastevere - location is perfect! Walking distance to some of the major sites in Rome yet situated in Trastevere, a wonderful quiet and charming neighborhood just next to the west bank of the Tiber. Pia was so helpful with my last minute booking & also helped with bus routes, airport shuttle booking and some great restaurant ideas once we arrived. My aunt was staying at a hotel near by and once she saw Pia's place, she booked one of the rooms with her. We are definitely recommending this to all of our friends who are traveling to Rome in the future. Thanks Pia!
