I am from Washington DC. I enjoy skiing and the outdoors.
The location of the studio is superb and I felt very comfortable there during my 10-day stay. Brandon was very friendly and helpful. Only drawback was street light coming in through the window at night. I slept really fine - but might be good to know for people who have a problem with this so you can ask Brandon beforehand. Can only recommend this place!
The reservation was canceled 7 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Brandon's place was exactly as advertised: well placed in DuPont, super easy access to metro and all else DC, clean, spacious studio. Definitely recommended.
Love my stay at Brandon's.
Great location and a very nice apartment. Perfect for a few days in D.C.
This is the second time that I have stated at Brandon's apartment. Brandon is very flexible with whom to work. Apartment is great, i am going to stay here again.
Brandon's listing is absolutely accurate! Location was perfect. Two blocks and a 5 minute walk to the center of DuPont, the metro,Embassy Row, Adams Morgan, 16th Street, U Street, grocery stores, eateries, cabs, bars. A MUST location to see NW. But even more so were the comforts of a nicely kept home. Brandon's apartment is clean, attractively decorated in old charm meets Ralph Lauren style and smells of a burberry-esque-ness.which is hard to accomplish in some older buildings. During a very chilly weekend, we were toasty and enjoyed relaxing on the couch in front of the tv and slept like babies in a very comfortable bed. Although not very big, the apartment size is comfortable for two. We had no problems, Brandon greeted us when we arrived, was easily communicable, and we enjoyed our stay. We had a very easy, comfortable and enjoyable stay. Great apartment to stay in!
This is a spectacularly convenient location. It's just at the top of Dupont Circle, close to one of my favorite DC haunts, Bistro du Coin, and of course close to all of Dupont Circle and therefore, Metro, cabs, trains.
Brandon's place is spacious and comfortable, and he's a very nice guy.
We rented from Brandon for the inauguration. We paid $250 for an apartment he normally rents for $100.
Pros--neighborhood was great. Easy walking distance from the DuPont Metro station and very easy access to loads of neighborhood attractions. We felt quite safe and street parking was doable.
Cons--I was especially attracted by the "spacious" description used in the listing with "1320 square feet" and for up to three people. The apartment is a comfortable studio apartment for one or two adults. Three adults would be cramped, especially with only a sofa bed and the full size proper bed. I can't imagine how this apartment is over 1,300 square feet. It felt like 800-900.
Brandon is very friendly and easy going, but the unit was not well prepared. We were left one towel to share for three people and I wasn't super confident with the cleanliness of the sheets or the blanket/covers. You should confirm that in advance. Also, if you are renting in the winter, please make sure that Brandon explains how the window unit, gas heater and window are to be synched for your temperature comfort.
The apartment is in a great location and have all the amenities. I didn't personally see Brandon but he was very helpful and made sure all the details worked out. I highly recommend this apartment and would stay there again!
The apartment is very nice and quiet. It is located in one of Washington's old houses, which gives the apartment character. Brandon was helpful and easy to work with. I have already booked another stay with him.
