It was a great pleasure to stay in Patricks Apartment. I didn't get a chance to meet him in person but nevertheless he made our stay as comfortable as possible. The Apartment is huge and equipped with a great kitchen. The interior design is also pretty nice just as the pool. The only negative thing we realised was that the colour at the wall in the bedroom peals.
Thank you for the great time!
Patrick's apartment is in a great location. We could explore a lot of Candolim walking. Great restaurants (loved Fishermans Cove), shops, the beach and all the beach huts and of course the resort pool with a good sized kiddie part.
We didn't meet Patrick but he communicated well so it wasn't needed. The apartment itself was comfy and all we needed for us and our baby. Being able to boil water and cook very simple things was helpful though the hot plate was tricky so don't plan elaborate meals. We slept well on the bed (not always the case) and liked overlooking the pool and drinking our tea in the little spot by the window in the living room. Highly recommended.
The house was breathtaking from the moment we arrived. it is a spectacular place to spend some time. The island is a little far from many of the beaches but with Old goa just a ferry ride away and great food just next (email hidden)/restaurant spending time on the island was great.
The hosts were lovely and helping and only ever a phone call away. If you stay in Goa I would say try this place out you will not be dissappointed.
Overall, Patrick's place was a good value for Candolim. This was my first trip to Goa. Since most of the sights my girlfriend and I wanted to see were in the North, we decided to say in the area. In hindsight, the area itself is pretty loud and we'd be better served elsewhere in Goa for a "peace and quiet" type vacation. Patrick's place itself is good value and he was a very responsive host.
The good: Very centrally located. Tons of great restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. Beach is a 10 minute walk away, as well, through a couple of back alleys. The apartment is no-frills (website hidden) works, bed is comfy, and the shower has hot water. Another huge perk is a great supermarket a 1 minute walk down the road.
The bad: The apartment is located within the Alor Grande Resort. While it comes with a couple of perks like using the pool + having a security guard at the main door, it also can get very loud. On our first night, music was blasted until about 11pm. The bed is on the smaller side, too. Just cozy enough for two people. Also, while the kitchen has basics (fridge, sink), the hot plate/stove can be finicky. I'd just plan on eating out.
We loved Candolim! Patrick was an awesome host and let us extend our stay at short notice. This place is perfect for exploring Candolim and is a short walk to the beach. The onsite staff are very sweet and the security is very friendly. This apartment was perfect for us. We liked that we had a store and a fruit market so close so we could eat fresh fruit every morning and grab a taxi. I highly recommend this place.
We had a good stay at Patrick's place.
The flat is located at a convenient location in Candolim and is definitely value for money.
Patrick also is very accommodating. He refunded the remaining amount when we had to cut short our trip due to health related reasons.
Easy check in, convienient location and easy access to stores etc.
We had a fantastic stay in Goa! I would definitely recommend the place to anyone looking for comfortable, clean, well located and relaxing accommodation! We will definitely be back and i don't see us staying anywhere else but there! Thank you Patrick! Big Ups!
This studio was our first apartment in Goa - it was a great experience! Thank you, dear Patrick and Trisha, our hospitable hosts! ;) It was such a good start of vacation. We even had a nest with a tiny baby dove at the the window sill. :-))) The apartment is spacious, clean, full of light, very cosy at all! Candolim itself is a kind of very russian place, almost everyone knows russian and you even can find karaoke cafe with russian songs! The time we've spent there was full of fun, local people are very helpful and polite. We recommend you to visit Mango Grove cafe - the food is delicious here and the people are very friendly. On the beach (5 minutes by walk from apartment) you will find a cosy cafe Monico's Beach Shack - get a chance to meet Stevie and Roman from staff crew! They are very funny guys. Nearby the apartment there a couple of supermarkets, kiosks... It seems like you can find almost everything you need in Candolim - just relax and enjoy your vacation. Some tips where to go and what to see: nightclub LPK in 10 minutes from apartment by taxi (cause of beautiful view to the lakes), legendary Arpora Night Market on Saturday (must-see!!! - around 30 minutes by taxi, the doors open at 7PM every Saturday), Cabana Club (full of tourists from all over the world and free bar ;)). Another one good direction - you can choose a tour to the waterfall and spice plantation. Enjoy your holiday in Goa and Patrick's apartment! :) We are sure you will like it! Yulia and Lena.
Close to the beach(about 3-5 minutes walk), apartment was tidy & clean. I loved the restaurants around and relatively peaceful compared to Calangute. Most of the thigns you would require are within few minutes walk.
Host Partick is a good host, I enjoyed my stay at Goa.
Patrick is a young and energetic Goan. An engineer by profession and a sailor by passion. He knows the Goa scene well and will be able to help out with all sort of information on the places.
