We are bike-riding, garden-loving, native Texans with a home in Austin. Our happy family includes our sweet little daughter Annalouise. We love to cook, drink wine, sing, raise chickens, and play outside.

My experience was easy and very enjoyable.
Leslie and Dylan have a lovely airbnb. It was perfect for our group and they were both so communicative and nice throughout our whole stay. I would definitely recommend this space!!!
The home was as clean and warm-feeling as it appears. Its located just a short taxi or car ride (maybe 5-7 minutes, barring traffic) from the sights, sounds, and food on 6th street. The home is more spacious than I think the pictures demonstrate. We had 7 people in our group and everyone slept comfortably in this 2/2.
The only drawback was, despite how nice this and other houses within the neighborhood were, some neighbors didn't necessarily maintain their homes as well, which created a somewhat "sketchy" vibe upon initial impression. However, all of the neighbors that we did randomly encounter were actually cool.
Staying at Leslie and Dylan's place was awesome! My boyfriend and I are on a road trip and a few friends flew down from Michigan to meet up with us.. the place couldn't have been better. It housed eight of us and my two dogs very comfortably. The location is great.. very near to everything we wanted to do in Austin. Leslie and Dylan were very generous, leaving us coffee and croissants, and very helpful in a ton of ways. They took the time to write out suggestions for places to see and left a map for us and were incredibly easy to get ahold of/communicate with. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're traveling to Austin.
Love this house! Leslie and Dylan's place was perfect for a girls weekend in Austin. The house is super cute and decorated great! Loved everything about it from the eggs from the chickens outside to the fresh flowers inside. Amazing location on the east side close to everything!
This house is a great jump-off to experiencing Austin.
Leslie and Dylan's house is charming, spacious and has great common space for groups.
We had lunch out back and hung out with the very polite, quiet and cute chickens in the coup!
We also relaxed on the front porch and in the main TV room.
The kitchen has plenty of space, and you could certainly cook. Or, you could enjoy the delicious croissants, eggs and mimosa fixings Leslie and Dylan so kindly left us.
We had plenty of linens and blankets, and the two bathrooms were large enough for a crew of gals to get ready at the same time.
Highly, highly recommend. $10ish cabs/Ubers to anywhere in downtown/South Congress/Rainey and more.
Thanks again L & D!
Lovely house provided by Leslie & Dylan, handy area to stay, use of bikes, a fully stock kitchen with food, local beer and croissants on arrival. Highly recommended :)
We loved the house. So clean and welcoming. Leslie and Dylan left us local coffee and beer, as well as some delicious croissants. There were enough beds and linens for all 6 visitors. The chickens were interesting. No eggs during our stay, but we appreciated the offer to collect eggs if there were any. Really everything was very lovely. The roosters do what roosters do so if you don't want to get up with the roosters this is something to consider. The house is an very close to bus lines and a nice walk downtown. Only a 15 minute walk to a great grocery store, HEB. We would highly recommend the house!
The house was ideal for people attending ACL. It's close to great East Austin spots and an uber has you at the festival in no time. Walking distance to Franklin BBQ, Whisler's, White Horse Tavern, etc. Comfy house. Leslie & Dylan made everything easy in terms of getting settled, and gave us muffins, bananas, and beer. Very nice of them. Only glitches were chickens woke us up. They're only audible from one room. One morning they shut up and we could go back to sleep; another, they did not -- guess the sun was too bright. But if you're an early riser and like eggs, shouldn't be an issue. We were 4 guys and did 3 beds and a couch, because one of the tiny cots was not viable. Couch was much more comfortable. The place was great though and, even with the chickens, I'd rend it again.
What a great first experience! Right from the start Leslie and Dylan were very prompt to answering any questions I may have had. Which made this experience that much easier. Their home was very welcoming, stylish, very spacious, clean, conveniently located to downtown and let's not forget the amenities. We were welcome to anything we needed from the kitchen(fresh coffee, fruit, croissants) and even fresh eggs from the chickens. Overall we could not have asked for better hosts or a place to stay. I wish our timing could have been better, I would have loved to meet these two! I would highly recommend Leslie and Dylan's place to those seeking and Austin adventure.
Leslie and Dylan were super to easy to communicate with and took great care of our place during their stay. Congrats on your nuptials!
Wonderful guest... very sweet, fun-spirited and communicative. She and her small family left our home in great shape.
