I've been travelling for the last 3 months by myself throughout Europe and a bit of America too and it has really been an incredible experience. I've learnt a lot about myself and the world as well as meeting some really amazing people. Some of the best experiences have been through AirBnb and (website hidden) where I've actually met locals in the cities I've visited. I've just created my own AirBnb profile, but have been using it with friends previously. Even though seeing what sights a country has to offer is an important part of travelling, I'm much more interested in experiencing places like those that live there and learning about their culture and what makes them tick. It's always been great to just chat with so many people of different backgrounds and see what they have been through until now.
I'm a musician and designer back home, and the biggest thing I've missed is to be creative again. It will be very interesting to get back to normal life and see what that feels like again!
I'm very easy going and open minded, and this trip has only made these values stronger. I never thought I'd be the type of person to travel alone but it's fun to prove yourself wrong! As long as you are happy and positive, you can get through anything, and I feel the universe rewards you for a good attitude because things tend to fall into place when you are positive.
