I am a well-traveled, 40-something real estate agent. I sell historic and architectural properties throughout the United States and have partnerships in representing properties in Europe and South America.
Additionally, I am completing my M.A. in History and plan on beginning my Ph.D program in 2015 or early 2016. My educational and personal interests are the growth and development of U.S. cities, with emphasis on the emergence of regional vernacular architecture; the rise and fall of metropolitan areas, and the negative effects of urban sprawl.
My free time is spent reading, although the material I read tends to be academic journals; going to as many art exhibits as I can; spending time with friends and family.
My Airbnb experiences have been pretty great. The first place I stayed in had been an eighteenth-century converted grain mill in Cambridge. I hope to find more locations like that in my travels, although I'm equally happy staying in a house or apartment.
