I am a retired ESL teacher and wannabe writer. I've had a few short stories published and now I'm trying to complete a novella.
In 2012 I travelled to the south of Spain, London, Paris and Bali. I loved Spain as I speak Spanish and enjoyed being able to communicate with people I met . My favourite place was Cordoba - small enough to get around easily, the bewitching Mesquite to visit, wonderful arabic baths, local silver products available and wonderful food. I had previously travelled to England, Canada, USA, China and New Zealand and lived and worked in London, Montreal and Mexico City.
My husband and I are 'sea-changers', retiring here from Sydney 14 years ago. We love living so close to the beach. We enjoy travelling, kayaking, camping, growing a few vegies, going to the movies (my favourites this year have been Nebraska and Tracks) and reading (favourite being The Sea by John Banville).
