Response from Lena:
Lena's apartment is good for a short stay in Zadar. It is very well located - just a few short steps from the main square and the water. The place is quite small but well-kept. Just note that the photo of the water is definitely not the view from the apartment! The window faces a courtyard so there is no view. We also couldn't figure out the hot water heater for the shower so make sure to ask Lena or her daughter how to work it. Overall the apartment served our purposes quite well.
Lena's place is in a perfect location in the heart of Zadar. It's an older place but exactly what my friend and I needed as we travelled through Croatia: two comfortable beds, cold air conditioning and easy access to the city center. We had a delicious dinner around the corner at Bruschetta and enjoyed walking down through the shops to the sea organ, etc. Lena also connected us with a local taxi driver who we used to/from the bus station and airport. The only downside was the lack of wifi in the flat but it's possible to use either the ethernet cord Lena provides or the signal from the local cafes. 2 people is the maximum but quite comfortable for us both! Definitely recommended for a relaxed stay in Zadar!
Lena was away on business whilst we were there but her daughter, who spoke perfect English, was very patient, as our flight in was slightly delayed, and then our mobiles did not work as we expected. The studio room is small but is very conveniently located in the centre of Zadar – just walk out into one of the main tourist areas - yet was very quiet in the room. Because of the size, would suit one or two people who intend to have a short stay or use it as a base to explore the city and area. Lena has made a real effort with furnishings in the room.
