I have lived in the greater Boston area for most of my life, with a brief 3-year stint in Oakland, CA. I love to play basketball, ride bikes, and read.

The apartment is generally nice, bright and located 5 mins from the subway. The bed was comfy and room itself is small but adequate for a couple of nights. The neighborhood is cute and low-key, close-by to some cool restaurants and a park - I would definitely stay nearby in the future.
Unfortunately, I was attracted by the description of the room as 'quiet' and 'private', which it was not in my experience because the hosts had people over the night I stayed. Everyone left for a bar at midnight, but I could hear music, very loud drunk conversations (which I could hear word for word), and people drunkenly moving back and forth past my door until then. I made the reservation a week in advance, so the hosts could easily not have accepted my reservation or given me several days warning. Instead, they told me three hours before I showed up that they were 'having a few people over', by which point it was too late for me to cancel my reservation and get my money back, or to find anywhere else. It's also worth mentioning (I don't think this is clear in the listing), that this is a roommate situation so there are several people living there - the bathroom reflects this.
Hosts were great to work with -- very clear on arrival time and someone was there to let me in. The place is cozy with a lovely kitchen and nice decor. There was a sound machine in the bedroom which I loved because I always need noise to sleep. Also, their shower is huge and has great pressure. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The place is very close to a T stop and is also near Center street which has a slew of good restaurants. I would definitely recommend to others and stay again.
I had a very nice stay here. I love Jamaics Plain and Trevor's apartment is in a convenient location. The apartment was clean and quiet and it a great modern feel. Easy check-in and good communication made things go smoothly and easily. The bedroom as a bit smaller than expected but otherwise the stay was perfect. Definite thumbs up.
Very comfortable house in a great location. Would definitely recommend.
First and foremost, I would welcome Trevor back to my home without hesitation. In most respects, he and the other eight or so members of his party were excellent house guests. My house was locked up and secured when I returned, they cleaned up pretty well, and left the house close to the same shape they found it.
I want to leave an honest review so I have to mention that a handful of house rules were broken at some point during their stay. With so many people staying, I can only imagine there would be some difficulty making sure everyone adhered to them, so it's hard to fault Trevor specifically for that. A few of my groceries were used, in particular a not-so-cheap microbrew. They left some eggs, a loaf of bread and some wine to replace the things they used, which was appreciated. I also have a rule against shoes on the carpet, and this was not obeyed at all times, as evidenced by visible shoe prints, but no stains or dirt or anything - no harm no foul.
Trevor and Jay were great house guests en route to their final vacation destination making the most of their short stay in Brooklyn. Communicative, clean, and considerate. I'd welcome both back anytime and highly recommend them to future Airbnb hosts!
