One of my loves in life is travel! Most recently, my husband and I went to Peru for our honeymoon, and fell in love with the Andes, the culture, the food, and the people. I was an anthropology major in college so I love visiting places where the cultures are vastly different from mine. I always come back from trips, even to different parts of the US and to the wilderness, always humbled and with my perspective widened. My favorite destinations are those full of unspoiled beauty. Mountains and/or ocean are a plus!

I also love all things music (going to live shows, singing, playing music, dancing, all of it!), craft beer, and cooking heartwarming meals with my husband. My husband (a former chef) and I share a serious love of food, all cuisines - Italian, Indian, Korean, Lebanese, Japanese, Mexican...anything tasty, we'll eat it. Yoga is another one of my loves, perhaps my best friend. I am currently enrolled in a yoga teacher training to deepen my practice and to learn how to safely and lovingly share yoga with others.

My style of traveling? I enjoy budget travel and luxury travel. Staying in a tent, staying on a small sailboat, staying in a beautiful resort hotel room, staying in a homey condo. I am into it all. I like packing light. I like to get out and see a lot and immerse myself in the micro-culture of wherever I am. Regardless of the setting or situation, I am always a respectful guest.

Just a tad bit more about me. I have lived a mostly bi-coastal life, in and around Washington DC, New York state, the Bay Area, and Santa Monica. I am a licensed attorney, but have switched gears by joining my husband's business venture. We run a food manufacturing business together. It is challenging but fun!
