Friendly, active grandmother who loves to entertain, cook and garden.
I was comfortable at Carole's. She is so nice and friendly, not too much, just made you feel relaxed. She ask me to write a note in her diary and I thanked her for my visit. The room was comfortable and I had everything I needed. I did get water in her kitchen to take with me. I didn't have any complaints except for unlocking the door - for some reason I had a hard time with that lock.
I love this room very much. It is a quite place. Carole and Liz are kind and nice people. And they have a cute big dog. Oh, I have to say. This is a wonderful room!
carole is delightful and very pleasant and flexible. she even shared oranges from her orange tree in the backyard!. very cool place to stay and very quiet
I loved staying at Carole's house! She is a warm and gracious host. The room is cute, clean, quiet, and cozy. Coffee was always ready every morning, bright and early. Her grand daughter Liz stays in the room across the hall and is the perfect housemate, along with their dog London. Parking was readily available, never a problem. I had a wonderful week long stay at Carole's house and now consider them new friends.
Carole's room is clean and cozy, just like the picture shows. I had two great nights staying at her place. She is a warm and caring person, makes me feel like spending time with my own grandma. Carole respects my own space. She is a perfect host for airbnb.
Carole's house is in a quiet and clean neighborhood. I booked the room for two nights and I was supposed to spend sometime exploring the community - too bad that I didn't get to do so as I had to check out early due to some change in my travel plan. Regardless, I had a good time there and Carole was very kind and helpful. The house is lovely - a carefully decorated living room, a very spacious and functional kitchen, and a nice backyard with oranges about to ripen - I think that's why it is called Orange County here. Carole was also kind enough to tell me the books she's been reading and show me the marvelous collections of the masterpieces crafted by her late husband - paintings, wooden furniture, etc. As to the room, it was cozy and tidy. I think you'd love it if you like things to be in order, although you might find it less convenient that you will have to use the bathroom outside your bedroom. Overall, it's been great and I really enjoyed my stay at Carole's beautiful house. If I come to OC again, I'd definitely come back and stay here.
Perfect place to stay. Quiet, safe, and great location. Thanks!
Carole is a good host, she provided warm receptions, clear guideline in her house and very good reference on what to see and where to eat in the area. Recommended for other travellers.
We were new to this site and are so pleased we met Carole. My husband will be working down there and plans on staying with her as much as he can. Thank you Carole for taking such good care of him.
After a long trip I had a wonderful night at Carol's place. It is calm and located in a nice neighbourhood. It also has a beautiful garden! Carol and her grand daughter were very nice and extremely supportive. On recommendation, I went to a bakery nearby for breakfast the next morning and had the best veggie breakfast sandwich in my life. I wish I could have stayed longer!
I have rented a room from Carole for several months, and I could not ask for a better host! Her house is always clean and tidy, very well maintained. She makes fresh coffee every morning, and frequently provides home cooked meals. She respects your space, or socializes with you if you want. The area is beautiful and quiet, with great weather year round. I couldn't have asked for a better room to rent!
