Great. Larry's team made us feel welcome
Apartment very much as we expected from pictures, very comfy except for heaters that were not working, and NYC weather during our stay was extremely cold, apartment very well located, clean, there was some construction work in flat below and some drilling, noise but the host asked them to keep it to a minimum. He was very polite, helpful and accomodating.
Everything was rather smooth, we could check out in afternoon also.
Larry's loft is ideally located in the heart of soho and close to little Italy and Chinatown but also steps away from Broadway. Very roomy and clean and we were warmy welcomed by his assistant Marlon although we had quite a delay. Communication and reservation went smoothly. Canal Street subwaystations are close. Would definitely recommend!
Larry was a great host & offered a friendly, helpful and unobtrusive welcome. The apartment is as fantastic as it looks on the photos and we found the area ideal for nice bars, shops and restaurants right on your doorstep. (Larry was spot on with the tips he gave us too: The Grey Hound (?) was our favourite brunch.) The only caution is the noise, especially on Friday & Saturday, but that's well advertised. Thanks for a fantastic trip, Larry! X
Great location. The loft is both spacious and has a very cool industrial look and feel. All in all a very nice and no-fuzz experience. Would definitely stay here again.
The reservation was canceled 77 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Larry's loft is huge and in many ways wonderful, but it seriously needs some TLC. The drains block, there are missing batteries from the smoke alarms - mostly because they go off without any reason and the lift broke twice whilst we were there which was not ideal since the building is very tall and we had a 65 year old with us and a lot of bags.
Bedding is lumpy, un-ironed and insufficient for winter; we ended putting one guest in a hotel since we found it too noisy to have the warehouse heating on in the main room and too cold without it.
Most furniture is cheep Ikea and very ropey, but the kitchen had everything needed and there were a couple of nice pieces. A picture fell off the wall nearly hitting someone on the head and there are obviously mice in the building due to the amount of droppings, but that is probably to be expected. All in all I loved the flat but with a little expense care and attention to detail it could also be a pleasant place to stay.
My partner and I stayed at L'Esquina, Larry is a great host and his loft is fantastic, very secure, plenty of natural light, very comfortable beds and loads of space so you don't feel as if you are sitting on top of one another and easy access to both the Spring Street and Prince Street subways. There is some noise from the street, but it wouldn't be New York if there wasn't street noise. The loft is close to some of the best shopping in Soho, as well as some great eating establishments. I would definitely stay here again!!
The loft had a lovely open living area and it's location in Soho was brilliant. Larry is a lovely and very informative host. I would highly recommend this apartment.
We just spent 2 hapy weeks at Larry's Little Italy Loft. We were generally very hapy woth the experience. It's a great location with Chinatown a block or so away, likewise trendy Nolita and Soho with their fabulous cafes and shops so close. The apartment was warm ( we had most days on NYC below zero) and lots of living space for 6 people. There are 2 generously sized bedrooms but the third was really only suitable for 1 person or a child, with little space and no wardrobe. Kitchen small but efficient and all you need when you eat out most of the time!
The bathroom fitting out was probably our only complaint - unfinished tiling and very basic fittings, but lots of hot water.
Overall we would recommend Larry's Mulberry St loft for a New York stay.
Everything you could hope for in a guest was what I experienced with Larry. Friendly, intelligent, and all around good guy. Looking forward to having him stay at my place again should he come in to town.
Larry was a fabulous guest! He and Phillip left the house spotless. Since he is an AirBNB host, he has a lot of empathy as a guest and he treated the house just the way I would have if I was traveling. I also enjoyed being a part of the movie he and Phillip are making about their travels and visits to other AirBNB vacation rental locations. During his stay, we had a glitch which was beyond my control and he and Philip were patient and understanding. I appreciated them so much as guests and would love to have them back any time!
Larry was a top guest and I would recommend him at any time!
Larry is an outstanding, truly amazing trustworthy person who has 2 beautiful apartments in 2 of the best locations in NYC. The Grand Soho has high ceilings with elevator straight into the beautifully furnished loft with a huge kitchen and fabulous artwork-can't be a better location in Soho. The Sex in the City apartment on Perry Street is located in a beautiful townhouse in the heart of the trendy and historical West Village. Inside this cozy and beautifully furnished apartment you can sit all day and enjoy people watching from the windows facing two different streets if you didn't want to step out to shop or eat at all the designer stores and restaurants in the neighborhood.
these 2 apartments are perfect for travelers to stay.
Grand Soho apt is right in the center of soho, with elevator bring you up to the whole apt, designer bath rooms and kitchen, great artwork and furniture to go with the loft style living. perfect for group travelers.
Perry street apt is nicely tucked in the most posh west village area, who does not love the corner apt where you see both east/ south / north side of the street! and right across is the famous san ambroeus restaurant! if you like celerbrity sighting, all you need is to sit at the window sill and sip coffee all day.
