I live in a very safe, clean neighborhood, with a quick walk to the metro/train/bus station to help you get around DC. This area of town is called Rosslyn - it's a half-commerical/half-residential area with companies like Deloitte, Rosetta Stone, and the Corporate Executive Board just a few blocks away. And fun fact: This is the building from which they shot the opening scene for House of Cards!
NOTE: I am only able to accept a very small percentage of the people who request to stay here (less than 5%), so in order for me to consider you PLEASE make sure that you have filled out your entire profile and completed a few verifications including ID verification -- not having this info is the main reason I have to say no to most people. Also, more profile pictures is always better! And yes, I know it probably sounds like a lot of work for you to fill out a profile right now, but when you get here and live in this wonderful apartment and meet all of these amazing people, I promise that it will all be worth it. Besides, how much effort does it really take to press buttons on a keyboard? :p
This home is best for young professionals, with plenty of space to hangout, do work, or just relax. I choose the people who stay here very carefully, that's why everyone has such a good time living here! (Feel free to read all of my reviews!) So when you send me your message please tell me something about yourself. And if you can't think of anything to say, just tell me why you're coming to DC and what you plan to do here :)
A little bit about me...
I love people, psychology, comedy, startups, piano, and learning. And I'm also a fan of Stephen Colbert, Jon Stewart, and college football/basketball. I really like collecting life experiences. My family moved 15 times before I even got to college, and I feel like at one time or another I've been involved with just about every type of social group. I've been working as a software engineer for the last 3 years, before that I was a consultant for 2 years, and before that I was a psychology and pre-med major in college. I've also been a college football player, calculus teacher, chess club founder, and fraternity member. I've gone through a lot of change in my life and have experienced a lot of different things, and I like it that way! Part of what makes Airbnb so amazing for me is that I get to meet so many cool, new, interesting people, all the time! It keeps me on my toes! I love hearing everybody's stories and getting to know them.
And my favorite quote & life motto...
"It's not the years in your life that count, but the life in your years"
