PLEASE read below before booking :)
The percentage of people I approve to stay at my home is extremely low (about 3%). This is because I only accept people whom I know are safe and would be a good personality fit for this home. A *huge* percentage of the time I will turn people down because I do not enough information them. So if you are truly interested in staying with me, before you send me a message please make sure that you have completed your profile and that you have added a few verifications, including ID verification if possible. When you message me please also tell me a few sentences about yourself. Sometimes I will also request that you Facetime or Skpe with me before booking, so don't be surprised if that happens :)
Also - I recently moved into a new home that's much more accessible to most places you would want to go in Washington DC. To see the new home look for my listings whose names start with "Million-dollar view" ... the new listing may not have as many reviews just yet, but you can see all of my reviews from both my old and new homes if you scroll down on my profile :)
Thank you for reading!
ABOUT ME & MY HOME:
I've been doing Airbnb for about 2.5 years now and have had an amazing experience meeting interesting, energetic, accomplished people from across the world. I try to create in my home an environment of compatible personalities, and that's something I take into consideration when speaking to each one of my potential guests.
This home is ideally suited for young professionals - I've been a host to many Capitol Hill and White House interns, medical students on rotation, lawyers, investment bankers, engineers, future fighter pilots, NASA interns, consultants, designers, entrepreneurs, ballerinas, and opera singers. I've also welcomed a number of tourists from Europe, South America, and Australia. This home is great for young professionals because there is plenty of space to do work, watch TV, play games, or just hang out.
There's nothing like waking up every morning to views of the Washington DC skyline! My home is a five-minute walk to three different metro lines and many bus lines, so getting around DC is a breeze. My home also within walking distance to dozens of great restaurants and stores. And if you're into great food and want to try out some of the best restaurants in DC, I've been to quite a few so I can definitely give some good recommendations :)
My neighborhood (northern Arlington) in one of the highest-educated counties in the United States and is one of the safest in the DC metropolitan area. And everyone whom I approve to stay in this home has had their ID's verified--either through Airbnb or through their payment form--which makes my home in particular even safer :)
The majority of my guests are long term, and I prefer long-term guests! Most of my guests stay for about 2-3 months, but I've also had a few short-term guests and others who have booked for up to 12 months.
A few things I like... people, psychology, startups, Jon Stewart, John Oliver, Will Farrell, all kinds of music, and all kinds of food :)
And my favorite quote / life motto ...
"It's not the years in your life that count, but the life in your years" - Abraham Lincoln
