I make my living using the internet super highway, this mostly happens in San Francisco where I live and work. Like any good local I love my coffee, my drinks, and my food.
My parents satyed at Justin's place for one month. They enjoyed their stay, the apartment was comfortable and had some character. It's nice that it had a centrally located gas heater, which made their stay cozy as typical SF wood buildings tend to get chilly. The only comments would be that there was a lot of the owner's own things in the closet and drawers which felt a little odd and the place could have been a lot cleaner as well. Overall good stay and location is really good with Haight and Nopa right around the corner.
Brought my Mom to SF for a friend's wedding. My Mom has fibromyalgia, so all the running around town would really wear her out.
We found Justin's place to be perfect! It was close to my friend's apartment, which allowed my Mom easy access to go rest. The apartment was even bigger than I imagined and the beds were super comfy.
We really had a great time and hope to get to stay here again!
We enjoyed our stay at Justin's place - it was clean, stylish, and in the heart of the Haight. Perfect for our group's weekend in SF. He was very easy to communicate with before and during our trip. Definitely recommended!
Good location if you want to live more in a neighborhood area. Lots of bars and restaurants in the area, close to Golden Gate park.
Great place! Really clean, fun location, easy to park. Justin was super easy to deal with. Could not recommend it more!
The reservation was canceled 7 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Justin was very responsive to any questions I had while at his place. The apartment was very conveniently located to many attractions and neighborhoods and close to restaurants. We were there to visit our daughter who lives a half mile away so the location was perfect. The apartment was clean and comfortable but the kitchen really wasnt equipped to do much cooking. Access to the large Apple computer was nice.
Very stylish apartment in the Haight with beautiful views. This is a good location for exploring the central strip of the city -- say, you've been to SF before and want to go beyond the tourist sites. It's walking distance to Alamo Square and Golden Gate Park, with one-bus access north to the Presidio and Japantown, and south to the Castro, Mission, Noe Valley, and even Bernal Heights.
Four things you should do from here:
-- Wander to the top of Buena Vista Park, which is more like a forest hike.
-- Get sandwiches and ice cream at Bi-Rite on Divisadero, and take your picnic around the corner to grassy Alamo Square Park.
-- Eat dinner at Magnolia, NOPA, or Nopalita.
-- Rent bikes and ride through the Panhandle (smell that eucalyptus!) and Golden Gate Park to the ocean.
The apartment itself is nice, just like in the photos, with a comfy bed and a good shower. We had our toddler with us, and while it's not the ideal setup, with no dining table or dark second bedroom for sleeping, it worked just fine. The kitchen isn't really set up for cooking (two small pans, no oil or spices), but you're in San Francisco, so you should be eating out anyway. Just don't get all ambitious at the farmer's market.
Justin was super responsive before our trip and via text while getting checked in. He was great about making us all feel welcome.
We had a great time at Justin's place. The appartment is comfortable, sunny, loaded with electronics - amazing playlist as well ;) Perfect location to explore SF and enjoy the nightlife as well. Justin had been a wonderful host, very responsive. Easy communication before and during our stay. Couldn't be better!
Our stay at Justin's apartment was great. Very clean, very stylish space in a super fun neighborhood (Haight, a true throwback to the 60s/70s). Justin was also extremely responsive to all of our questions and needs and helpful in recommending different local spots to visit. I would certainly stay here again if I wanted to experience the neighborhoods nearby, but it was a bit of a hike to get downtown or to the pier/wharf, as most trips required two busses (though the bus stop was right out front of the apartment). However, our trip to San Francisco was definitely made better the minute we came into the apartment and were able to completely relax knowing there with no worries at all about our accommodation.
Justin is laid back, social, clean and a fun guest. During his stay, we shot some baskets, ate home cooked ratatouille, dined at Plow and had great conversation. He's well immersed in San Francisco and had great suggestions on eats and hot spots. He's an awesome guest and with his knowledge of the city, he'd be a great host as well.
Justin, come back anytime and I'll keep you posted on family meals. See you around :-)
I didn't get the chance to meet Justin in person as I was out of town but he was communicative, promptly returned messages and phone calls and came and went with no incident. I would love to have him come again.
