everything went very well, as last time, even though there were some renovations occuring (to which I was informed in advance).
very nice place to stay.
It's not a regular Airbnb experience that we are used to. It's basically a mini-hotel that listed their rooms here, which is not bad, but the best part of airbnb - meeting host - was not there.
The rooms are nice, check-in was smooth, though we have to mention that we were asked to pay for the room when we arrived and we had to explain that we already did.
The building is old indeed, walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors in the middle of the night, but the interiors are stunning.
Little downsides are that the reception is not working 24h, and sometimes there was nobody that could help us. We got a double bed with one single cover, which was weird so the second day we asked for a second one. Also it was pretty cold inside the room, so we were sleeping half-dressed.
One bathroom was not an issue for us, it was constantly getting cleaned, smelled nice and was ALWAYS free, though we saw lots of guests.
The hairdryer was not working, and the person on reception (not a regular receptionist) who did not know english told us there is nothing he can do.
But all the downsides come to nothing when it goes to the price. It was the only place in Lodz that we could afford and for that money it was AWESOME.
The reservation was canceled the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.
place is relatively close to walking street and Manufactura, shopping restaurant area. Pension is very specially decorated with paintings, crystals and asian mats. toilet and shower is outside the room, but you will get what you pay for. main enterance is behind the building, not front, as we thought...
Lovely room, really like a palace. Highly recommended! Thanks for the great stay!
Deu toda a informação necessária e rapidamente.
The host was fantastic and truly enjoyed their company. They all welcome you with open arms!
What you see in the photos was as details as it can be for your accommodations needs. I highly recommend staying with this place. Easy to get around.
Great place to stay! Very central location and great hosts. I would stay there again. Thank you.
Przyjemna alternatywa do anonimowych hoteli - niebanalne wnętrza i fajny klimacik. Polecam!
Adrian is a friendly guy who is easy-going and very entrepreneurial and reliable. He's fun to talk to and I would highly recommend hosting him or staying with him.
I've known Adrian since I met hit at an entrepreneurs' conference in London in 2010. Adrian is an open-minded, friendly and very reliable person!
