learning new things
and seeing new places!
Christine's place is really cozy, tidy and quiet. She was a great host, always helpful, cheerful and willing to have a conversation, but also very respectful if you felt like being on your own. On top of of all this, there's The Junction, a really nice neighbourhood in Toronto with a hipster, village feeling, full with cafes and stores, and very close to downtown. It was great staying at Christine's for ten days.
My stay at Christines home was very nice. Everything is super clean and the room is very nice. Thanks to the AC there was a good temperature in the room. There is also a very comfortable chair where you can sit down and relax. Internet connectivity is available and works fine. It is a very quiet place!
Christine is a very nice person and she made my stay unforgettable. In the evenigs we always had nice talks. She knows a lot about Toronto and gives very helpful tipps.
It is easy to get to Christines home. I arrived at Pearson Airport and used public transport to get to the appartment which takes about an hour. Public transport works also to get Downtown or to Toronto Bus Terminal.
I definately recommend this appartment! Thank you, Christine!
Staying with Christine was awesome! She made me feel at home from the first minute I arrived. It was great to have somewhere that felt so much like home.
The room was spacious with everything I could need - aircon, desk, tv. And the overall area has a good location and vibe.
Besides the great room, Christine was an amazing host, going above and beyond. She was very friendly and welcomed me openly on some of her adventures around the city. I would definitely stay here again.
The second part of my stay was similar to the first - I enjoyed spending time at home, talking to Christine and exploring the city. This place is a good choice for anyone seeking a friendly host and clean, accessible, comfortable accommodation.
I spent 3 nights at Christine's place and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an excellent host who comes with a cosy apartment!
Christine went out of her way to make my stay comfortable - picking me up from the airport and taking me to the local festivities when they were on, brewing tea in the morning (when I woke up early enough). She provided the atmosphere that made the apartment feel like home. Thank you Christine!
The apartment itself is in the Junction area with plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants. Getting to downtown is a short ride on a bus or a 15 minute walk to the subway, then another 15 minutes on the subway. The attic is very comfortable and comes with a cooler/fan, the kitchen and bathroom are well equipped and clean. The big windows in the living room lets in lots of natural light, providing a great reading/relaxing space when it's time to chill out. All in all, you're not left wanting!
Thanks again Christine, and I'll be back!
Thanks to Christine I had a great start in my new life in Toronto. The homelike atmosphere at her clean but warm place and her cordial outgoing character made it easy for me to settle down, relax and free my mind to deal with newcomer's bureaucracy. It felt like we have been living together for a long time, coming home and exchanging experiences and new discoveries, always respecting eachothers privacy.
Christine helped me everywhere she could and showed me some of her favourite places in Toronto. She is a fantastic host and I absolutely recommend staying with her.
Stayed there for one week.
Christine has been a great host, very helpful and welcoming. Her place is very nice and cozy and the area is great, with lots of caffés and an artistic feeling.
Christine was a charming host.
She was sweet-natured and welcoming.
We did not see her much as she was working long hours but when she was home Christine was wonderful company.
The house has beautiful clear loved filled energy and had a delightful loft to rest in. It felt very healing and restorative.
The neighbourhood was hip & funky with warm friendly people, loads of places to eat. We particularly loved the Pho Vietnamese restaurant - delicious clean yummy well priced food. And then there was Big Daddy, a great DVD shop with an amazing selection of movies and brilliant customer care.
Everything we needed was within walking distance so super handy & the city was just a short subway ride away.
We would recommend Christine and her home to anyone.
A delightful stay. Thank you.
Christine was an incredibly friendly and accommodating host! I highly recommend staying with her if you are going to be in the area.
Christine was the perfect houseguest ... clean, quiet, respectful AND she brought her own food !! She is welcome back anytime.
Christine was a great guest: friendly, clean, good communication. I definitely recommend her.
Christine was a great guest, easy-going and a very kind/gentle person with our "kids" (cats and dogs). She even helped us with our pond to get the pumps going again!
Christine was a wonderful, friendly guest who was very easy to please and also very appreciative. I enjoyed meeting her and getting to know her (a little) very, very much! She was extremely helpful and thoughtful. I hope she comes back to Denver again some time. I was sorry when she had to leave.
I can not tell you how much I enjoyed having Christine stay with me. I was really sad when she left. She was so thoughtful, generous, and easy to have as a house guest. She even took over the post of taking care of my dog when I had to go out of town for a couple days. She felt more like a long lost friend than a house guest. If you get the chance to host her, take it. You will be blessed by her presence in your home. She is an incredible person to get to know if you get the chance. I am a little shocked that I actually got paid for the experience.
Christine was great. Very polite and clean and easy to get along with. She bought and cooked all her own food and kept the kitchen tidy. All in all I believe it was a good arrangement for both parties. :)
