We had a great stay at Sara's apartment. We arrived in the night but still Sara was able to host us. It is a very nice and clean apartment!
The apartment was very clean and exactly as pictured. We had a lovely time.
We had a really great time at Saras cozy place! she was very flexible with check in and check out times, it was clean and near the citycenter. the coffee machine in the apartment is great!! :) we would really recommend to stay here!
We spent 7 nights in June at the apartment, Sara was great communicating before we arrived, even recommending a local restaurant as we were celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary while in Reykjavik.
Sara's mum met us at the apartment and talked us through how everything worked and gave us directions to the nearest supermarkets. The location is perfect - five minute walk to the harbour and Laugavegur (main shopping street).
The apartment was clean, tidy and perfect for two people. My husband is 6ft 2 and as a result did bump his head a couple of times, however this is not a criticism but tall people may need to take extra care. Bathroom was a good size and the wardrobe is tucked away with ample storage space. There is a hair dryer there which is useful, there is also a washer dryer but we didnt use it while we were there. Kitchen is great and it has a huge fridge/freezer and cooking facilities.
There is also lots of leaflets about things to do around Reykjavik and Iceland.
All in all a great place to stay to explore Reykjavik and other parts of Iceland.....We wouldn't heaitate to stay there again.
Nice and cosy appartment, everything there that is needed for a short stay, even equipped with coffee machine. had a great stay, checking in and out was easy, Sara very friendly - appartment is located very close to Reykavik's center. Recommendation!
This was a great studio in a great location. Just a couple of blocks from downtown and the gray line which will take you on all tours. I booked all tours leaving from Hotel Holt which is the next block over from the studio. I would definitely consider staying here again my next time in Reykjavik!
This apartment is perfectly located at walking distance for what you might visit, close to café and bars! Ideal for a couple. The kitchen is complete (you will be near a supermarket and a fish market). The bed is very comfortable. You won't regret your choice staying there. Thank you Sara!
We had a good experience staying at Sara's apartment. The location was very accessible to a Main Street with restaurants and bars and also very close to the BSI bus terminal. One thing I wasn't aware of was the shared bathroom, it didn't end up being a problem though because no one was in there when we needed to use it. All in all it was a very cute cozy apartment in a great location and I would recommend staying there.
What a beautiful apartment to stay in while visiting Reykjavik! Only 2 minutes away from city's main street, the location is perfect. It has everything you need during your stay including a kitchen, towels and washing machine.
Sara was a wonderful host and answered any questions we had during our stay. I would definitely recommend this apartment.
My husband and I stayed at Sara's studio apartment for our honeymoon and had an amazing experience. The apartment was spotlessly clean, bright, and very homey. It is in an amazing location. You can walk to almost anywhere in Reykjavik you want to go and there are more restaurants and bars within a stones throw than you'll even have time to go to. Parking was easy to find nearby. The bed was very comfortable and big, and the bathroom was a good size as well.
The only thing to keep in mind is that if you're visiting in the summer you will need to bring sleep masks because it does not get dark enough to sleep well. We also got a little bit hot at night because there isn't AC and leaving the windows open wasn't an option due to street noise. We bought a small fan for about $15 at a nearby mall and it helped a lot.
I would absolutely recommend this apartment if you want to be in the heart of Reykjavik.
