We had a great month staying in this apartment and would definitely return in the future if we get the chance. Yes, the apartment is small and the toilet is literally in the kitchen (although thankfully the kitchen is separated from the room). In spite of this our stay was ideal. The location is perfect, the price was good, the apartement is well equipped (including a good internet connection and cooking utensils) and has a nice view to a yard. And Raphaelle was a great host who helped us out whenever we needed anything. In short, this is a great place to stay in Paris for a single person or a couple.
We stayed at Raphaele's place for 11 nights, and we are very happy with the cozy home! The size is quite enough for two people to stay, and we did not mind about the kitchen and toilet being at the same area too. For a price like this, and a strategic place too (it is near a Metro rail station, restaurants and a grocery shop), it's really good value.
Raphaele is also a very good host. She will help you in anything and will answer to the best of her abilities.
Hope to see you again!
Raphaele's apartment couldn't be located in a better part of Paris. Within blocks of the apt is everything you could hope for in a little neighborhood to enjoy. Raph is also super friendly and helpful, if you should need anything. We stayed for nearly three months and I can tell you it was the best value in Paris. Yes, the apartment was very small, smaller than it looks, however it has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
I lived in this room for the entire month of September. It was perfect for just me. The kitchen and bathroom are combined which I've never seen before. The building is not soundproofed, so it can get loud. It's on the first floor, one floor up from the ground floor, which is nice. Even so, the building has elevator.
Right down the street is a square with lots of bistros, a gelato shop and a pastry/bread shop. My first stop in the morning to pick up a chocolate croissant. Also, check out the Moufftard Market nearby, with chocolate shops, bread shops, cheese shops, produce stands and meat shops. You can get rotisserie chicken with roasted potatoes to take home for about 11euros.
It was a great experience for me and my wife. The apartament is cosy and is situated at a special place of the town. Raphaelle is very nice and sure she will help if you need. Thanks to let me enjoy Paris at the inspiring Quartier Latin, near Palce Countrescarpe and the botânical garden. Highly recommended!
Raphaele's flat is in amazing and vibrant location in the heart of the Latin Quarter -- and yet, because it faces a courtyard with a lovely little garden, it manages to stay quiet even on weekend nights. Raphaele was welcoming and accommodating (thank you!). The one thing that took us a bit by surprise was that the toilet is in the kitchenette, and that there was no door. If you're staying with a partner of friend, be prepared to explore your boundaries :).
The room is a bit tiny. However, it is located at the core of Latin Quarter... it's literally only 1 minute walk from apartment to all bars. It's a really safe location. Raphaele was nice enough to pick us up from the metro station when we were lost, and she helped us to contact another airbnb landlord when we haven't received any responses from them. Great location and great hostess!
Raphaele is a perfect host. She has welcome us, cared about us during our staying. Her apartment has everything needed for a quick or medium staying in Paris and it is located in the lovely latin district in a very central position. Five stars.
Imagine yourself being Hemingway's neighbor. That is what happens there. The apartment's location is the best ever -- in the heart of the mythic Latin Quarter, a few meters away from Place Contrascarpe and from the most famous Hemingway's address in Paris, 74 rue Cardinal Lemoine.
Raphaelle is a welcoming hostess and she let ourselves at ease. The apartment has a nice bed, a wonderful window and lots of kitchen stuff. The only inconvenient is the toilette, which is literally inside the kitchen. But you can manage it.
Nice really-really small but well equipped apartment near Rue Mouffetard (restaurants, 2 supermarkets, boulangeries etc). No problems with safety. Free WiFi. And it's really for close couple or friends - toilet/kitchen has no door. :p
Location is excellent: about 3 minutes to Pantheon, 10 minutes to Notre-Dame and about 20 minutes to Louvre - on foot! Nearest RER station (Luxembourg) from CDG about 10 minutes walk, nearest metro station (Cardinal Lemoine) 5 minutes walk.
Raphaele and her friends proved to be very friendly people. They treated our apartment with great care. Just perfect guests!
What a delight it was to have this couple stay at my farm. They brought with them smiles and laughs a plenty, and even added to my VHS collection for the viewing pleasure of future guests. I couldn't recommend them more highly as guests.
