I'm a Philosophy Professor and Director of the Centre for Philosophy, Religion, and Social Ethics at the Institute for Christian Studies in Toronto. I travel mostly for work, attending academic conferences in various cities. I travel light, and consider myself a neat and tidy person. Away from academia, I am a husband to Cheryl and a father to two lovely children, Olivia and Ben. As my wife will attest, I spend a bit too much of my spare time at the hockey rink. I love all kinds of music, but am particularly fond of American roots music, including what is sometimes called 'alt-country'. My favourite travel destinations (so far) are Amsterdam, Zurich, and Chicago. Something just feels right when I'm in those towns.
