Well situated appartment in Raval, close to BCN university and Plaza Catalunya. Fair furnitured, with air condition, unfortunately no WIFI as promised. Good communication style of Ignasi and his son. Very flexibel. I would come again.

the apartment is very central..it has all the commodities one needs and is very spacious. the host jordie was very helpful and punctual every time. the only drawback are the stairs but for young people is worth going up the stairs as the price is very reasonable considering you have everything one needs.
Gracias Jordi!!
I stayed at this nicely located home the end of July through the beginning of August 2014. Jordi was very prompt with meeting me upon arrival. He gave me information on how to maneuver around town as well. Prior to arriving all communications were handled very quickly as well I might add. The apartment has a nice spacious feel to it and I found it very comfortable. The air conditioning worked very well, which is a big plus. Also the internet service was great. I also enjoyed being able to make my own coffee in the morning. It was located in a neighborhood that I really enjoyed as it seemed to be more locals than tourists. It is also extremely close to the Bocqueria, which was great for picking up fruit and other items.
The room was fine for 1 or 2, but more might be a bit crowded!
Well located but on 4th floor with no lift.
Be warned that a late arrival Incurs a 15€ fee!!
I stayed for 8 nights in the apartment in the heart of Barcelona. The apartment is located right in the centre of Barcelona, everything is in walking distance.
Im very disappointed about the cleanliness of the apartment. It was very dirty!! The shower didn't seems like has been cleaned since it was new, and it was mold and fungus all over!! The kitchen was dusty and lots of frying fat all over. Plates and cutlery was dirty, so I didn't even try to use anything of it.
The refrigerator has a need for defrost, since everything you put in to it get frozen.
The sheet on the bed had lots of stains.
It was intended that the son of the Host was going to meet me to take the key when I would leave the apartment, but he did not show up as agreed. Tried to call him, but only got the phone responds. 30 minutes later he sent a text message that he was late and could not meet me. I almost lost my plane because of this!
I will only recommending the apartment to backpackers who are used to staying at Hostal and are not so much interested in the cleanliness.
This was my third time to Barcelona and I usually stay in the Ciutat Vella area. I was here for 4 nights; Jordi met me right away and was prompt in helping me check-out. Overall I loved the apt. It was a bit noisy on weekend nights since it's close to bars, but I'm usually out late so it didn't bother me. During the days you can open up the doors and windows looking down on the street below... and it's beautiful to just hang out, do some work, and have a couple beers from the local grocery store. I actually slept the last night with the doors open just to listen to the city and to wake up to sunlight. It's about a 5-6 minute walk from 2 subway stations. The TV signal was crappy sometimes, but let's be honest, you shouldn't be watching TV if you're visiting Barcelona. It also has a great little roof top terrace to hang out on during the evenings with a friend... or again, do a little work or read a book.
I met Mr Ignasi son Jordi, a nice guy with a smile.
It is good apartment on the 4th floor in an old building,
Got all you need for couple or more days.
No elevator, don't carry large or heavy stuff with you,
Place got WiFi, logging info is in the back of the router.
Location is great for Barcelona stay, just a few minutes from the Liceu (Opera House) and MACBA (Museum of Modern Art)
Barri Gòtic is less than 10 min walk.
Very quiet at night. Good feeling
You'll exercise your legs in the stairs!!!
I would recommend the place if you like to stay in the Raval.
