I had a great time at Paula's place. The location could not have been more perfect - short walk to both Bond and Baker street stations. I managed to meet both Paula and Matt - both were tremendously lovely and accommodating, particularly about me leaving my luggage at the flat before checking in at 2PM. The room is exactly as pictured, perfect for one person. While I could hear the people staying in the rooms next to me come and go, I never had any issues and never had to wait for a washroom. I would definitely stay here again!
Check in went smoothly and we really appreciated the welcome snacks and wine Paula has arranged for us upon arrival. The neighborhood was lovely. Safe and easy access to the tube and shops.
I had a very nice stay in this room. Being along a road, it is not noisy. 5 minutes walk to Oxford Street. Everything as described on the website.
L'appartement est très bien situé, c'est au troisième étage sans l'ascenseur, Mathieu, qui travaille pour Paula nous a aidé de monter nos bagages. Il est sympa!
Paula and Matt are so incredibly welcome. The flat is in a prime area, so beautiful and safe.
Honestly I'm not in the room all that much except to sleep. Wake up around 830, get back around 11pm. Completely safe coming home late in this area. Fancy restaurants, ppl milling about on their way home, and so I have no worries about walking alone late at night.
Other ppl renting via airbnb rarely run into except for few times and we're all polite and friendly. Not a social place, but a mini home to relax away from run around of being a tourist.
I had a wonderful time staying in Marylebone at Paula's adorable flat. Matthew was fantastic at communicating to me every little thing I would need to know during my stay and was so thorough that I never had any questions throughout my visit. The location was superb and I was easily able to get to the Baker Street tube station and navigate around London to any of the most popular attractions. I would absolutely stay here again and am thankful I found a perfect room for my visit. Thank you so much, Paula and Matt!
Although I've not met Paula, she's efficient with her replies to my queries. I would also like to thank Matthew for being a great host. The apartment is lovely, great for a solo traveler. It is also really convenient and safe as the location is minutes away from the station and Oxford street. There isn't any problem I've encountered during my stay. The shower room is next to it. Check-in check-out was smooth. I will definitely book this apt again if I get to visit London.
Paula and Matt are both very responsive to my queries and messages. I had a great stay at Paula's place; her place is clean, basic, cosy and comes equipped with quite a number of amenities (including a laptop in the room! Matt also kindly provided me with an iron upon my request). The place is located in Zone 1 of London (close to a majority of the tourist sites) and is situated close to the tube station (Bond St) - so really, for the price that you pay, you really are getting a good deal. If I'm being really nick picky, I would say the bathroom, though functional, is a little on the small side, but I would say that it did not ruin the experience of my stay at all.
Apartment really nice, in a really cosy area. We have been welcome by Matt, a really friendly person, always available to help during our stay in London.
I will try and stay with Paula the next time I visit London which says everything about my experience. I was met by Matt who showed me where everything was in the room, the bathroom and kitchen area which has everything in it that you need. The room was perfect, so cosy and felt like a home from home. It is located in gorgeous Marylebone which was a lovely walk every morning to get to Regents Uni where I was attending every day.
