This is a nice place owned by kind and gentle people.
E' stato un bel soggiorno, camere spaziose, bella atmosfera nel centro storico di Napoli. Manuela è molto gentile e fornisce tutte le indicazioni necessarie per un soggiorno confortevole
Manuela is a very nice and accomodating hostess. Thanks again
Manuela was very helpful and kind. On the first day after arrival, she spent at least an hour with me, explaining what to do in Napoli, where to eat and how to get to all of the attractions. She gave me maps and quite a bit of personal attention. My only complaint was that there were technically 4 stories and no elevator, although I was given help with my luggage. It was conveniently located near bus stops and the metro.
Posizione centrale molto comoda e naturalmente abbastanza rumorosa.
Think twice before you book a room in Fiori di Napoli! We booked a double room for one week in October, but we… had never even seen that room. We came very late at night (flight was delayed). After arrival we heard that there was a problem with hot water in the bathroom, which would be fixed next day. We were not allowed to stay in our room. Without proper explanation and apologies, we were taken to a private apartment (imagine: 2 girls in the middle of the night in Naples…), where we spent the night. The apartment pertained to the parents of the bnb owner, but we were not informed about that in the beginning, so we were quite scared. The apartment was one floor below the bnb. Next day it turned out that the problem could not be solved quickly and we could stay only in the apartment with elder couple or we could look for a different hostel (of course, minus one full night costs and airbnb provision, which would be quite high for us). We were not offered any discount, nobody tried to apologize for the situation. We decided to spend the rest of our time in the private apartment, because financial reasons and time we would waste looking for a different place. In brief, pros and cons of booking Fiori… bnb: -The bnb owner was not very nice while communicating with us. She screamed on us that we booked the room for the whole week (sic!) and not for 7 separate nights, which would be more expensive. It was simply absurd! All the time we heard that we should be happy to stay for such a low price in Naples, even though we didn’t get what we paid for. -We didn’t have wifi in the apartment (it was available only in bnb upstairs, but we didn’t have free access to that area). -We couldn’t easily use the bnb kitchen, because we didn’t have the key. So each time we wanted to put something to the fridge we had to go to a different floor, ring for someone to open the door, explain what we need etc. -The bnb owner didn’t even think about offering us a different room at her bnb or a discount. In the end, it was not our fault that there were some water problems in our room, she could have offered us some other room instead. What she offered, was a room in the apartment, but it was below the standard we paid for. -We think our stay was also inconvenient for the bnb owner parents, although we tried to be quite silent and polite guests. It was visible that the elder people were not satisfied that we had to stay with them. +The bnb owner didn’t leave us without the room, in the end she let us stay with her parents. +Her employee was very kind and nice for us, offering help when needed. Gosia and Magda, we used Janusz's...
It was extremely difficult to find this bnb..I had to have a great deal of help, When I arrived finally there was only an abrupt
'si' when I asked through the intercom if this was the right place.
I climbed the six flights of stairs with my bags only to find two women yelling at each other. I never did meet Manuella. Her sister then told me that there was no room for me - that they had overbooked. Needlessto say I was astounded and exhausted.
But, the son - a young man with diplomacy explained that I would get my money back plus 10 euro for a cab to another bnb that they had contacted for me. He helped me with my bags back down to the street where a cab was waiting and took me too the other bnb where I stated quite happily for five nights.
This B&B in the heart of Naples was a good l base to explore the city. It is in the heart of the old city where the narrow streets are the setting for the activities of the city residents with many small stores and restaurants. The neighborhood is busy and noisy - it reflects the livelyness of the city. We found everyone we interacted with on the streets to be helpful and considerate - even with our limited Italian.
The top floor location also provided a haven when needed. The roof deck is a great place to lounge and enjoy the scene.
Manuela was very helpful. She steered us to a number of interesting places and experiences off the usual beaten path.
We found the optional breakfast to be a good start to our day.
The day I was due to check into this airbnb room I was contacted by the host saying the room was no longer available at their guest that was due to leave that day was sick and had to stay. They didn't have any other rooms available so I had to book something else at the last minute. Manuela issued a refund straight away though
Manuela is an excellent host, give us usefull advices and aswer all of our questions. The B&B is confortable and everything is at hand. Thanks, and hope to have another nice pizza in Naples!
Great location. My buddy and I weren't really sure what was going on, we never got a tour or a basic explanation of what/where anything is in our place. It was fine though because Naples is an amazing place.
