I am an artist and curator based in NYC , Paris and Shanghai .
Very nice place, excellent location to get around. Very nice and welcoming host.
All good, a couple of minor inconveniences as Bei is letting go of the loft and winding down the operation. We generally enjoyed getting back to the loft after big days of walking.
Good little spot, convenient, great food of china town, walk to little Italy. Can't complain.
Our stay at Beis apartment was really good. A great location with a nice big communal living area. We were in a great spot for trains and walking distance to good restaurants and bars. We didn't realise Bei would not be staying at the apartment and it is only housing for air BnB guests but this was fine over all. Kitchen facilities were good, and two toilets were good with 7 guests at one point. An extra shower would be great for the busy periods but all worked well sharing. The apartment is definitely big enough for all these guests and we felt comfortable and safe throughout our stay.
I had an awesome time at Bei's Loft. It's situated in Chinatown with plenty to do in the area. It is on the 5th floor so be ready to work out them legs. The loft was very cozy, quiet, and had everything I needed to enjoy my stay.
Nice space and (URL HIDDEN) has two bathrooms shared with three rooms. we never felt any problem.
Very spacious and clean loft in Chinatown. Bei was very flexible in terms of check in and check out time. We had a wonderful stay here!
Great location, great space, great bed, and great host. I'd definitely stay there again.
The "loft" is a somewhat outdated residential community.
Bei is definitely not living there.
We have not even met her in 6 days stay. And no one else met her.
There is no bedroom or other room where she could possibly live.
The loft has nothing personal, is worn, very dirty and you live with 3 other strangers in a confined space. With these, you also use the dirty bathroom.
The loft is located in the 5th floor with no elevator and the staircase is very steep. The rooms (except one) has no windows and they are very small.
It was a lucky coincident that some other renters have been in the flat to let us in. We tried calling bei but she never called back. We were greeted by an Asian woman who was rude and she could only speak English very bad.
You can tell immediately that she is only there because of the money she gets paid for giving out towels.
In our case, another pair that rented a room, brutally beatet up his girlfriend in one night and had in the other night noisy sex. Also not what you need on holiday. Bei could never be there to get between people because she is not living there.
In our time one couple left immediatly after one night, because it was dirty and this australian asshole beat up his girlfriend so load.
One last point on the situation. The location to the subway is good.
But the loft is located in Chinatown, across from a butcher and next to a fishmonger. It is extremely uncomfortable and very stink.
I would not even go to pay again because !!!!
We had a good time in Bei's apartment. Bei was very flexible and forthcoming with check-in and check-out times and gave some helpful advice about things to do in new york and nearby restaurants. We really liked the dim sum place around the corner that she had recommended.
Minor let down to me was that the bed was to short for me (I am 1.90 metre). Otherwise everything was fine.
Luong and I enjoyed having Ms Bei share our home for the week. She joined us a few mornings on our trips to the market and traditional Vietnamese breakfast. She is willing to try new foods and enjoys them. We look forward to seeing her again someday.
