We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious the apartment was - 2 bedrooms on the 2nd floor and two bathrooms with a separate shower stall (one on the 1st floor and the other one across the 2 bedrooms). It definitely allowed our group to cut our preparation time in half. What elevated the experience even more for us was the balcony on the 1st floor and the huge terrace on the 2nd floor which provided a very good view of the area. The apartment building is located in a very lovely and quiet suburban area. We were not at all concerned walking on the streets late at night. There are 2 bus stops near the building (one literally in front and the other one across) and once we managed to figure out the transportation system, it was a breeze taking the bus and getting off the nearest MRT station (Eunos on Bus No. 15 or Paya Lebar on Bus No. 155) which was no more than 4 stops each. The building has a nice decent-sized swimming pool which unfortunately we didn't get to use. The wi-fi was extremely fast. There are plenty of towels for guests to use. Air-conditioning was available not just in the bedrooms but even in the dining area.
While we didn't get to meet Stephanie as she was about to leave for Belgium, she was extremely responsive. She left cookies, milk and soda for us when we arrived which was very sweet of her to do. When we had a major emergency with our return flight, she was extremely gracious with allowing us to extend our stay.
Overall, we had a very wonderful experience staying at Stephanie's. The place was worth every single penny we paid and, frankly, I don't mind paying more after having stayed there. I've used AirBnB thrice already and this place earns top recommendation from me. Thanks Stephanie! I'll definitely be in touch when I go back to Singapore.
