Hey, I’m Patti!

Mountain View, California, United States · Member since September 2012

Greetings,
My name is Patti and I live in California. A few things about me: When I'm not working hard at a startup software company here in US (Silicon Valley) as a Executive Assistant. I enjoying traveling around the different parts of the world.
For me it's difficult to live without internet, hot shower, food of course and a good bottle of wine. Although, I'm sure I would be able to get by... I love exploring and discovering new things - hiking, museums, traditional restaurants, hanging out with the locals and meeting new people along the way and of course shopping. I love reading on my vacation, something I don't get to do much at home and enjoy different types of music and ethnic foods :-)
I enjoy the comforts of a clean apt/home, no pets (especially cats) allergies, dogs are okay and enjoying cooking while on vacation and having the option to go out to eat. My last vacation was Zurich and a wedding in Italy it was awesome and I look forward going back again.
My goal is to travel the old/new Wonders of the World! I've been to China with my family, parts of Europe, South America - Amsterdam, France, Italy, Switzerland, Brazil, Costa Rica, Greece, South Africa, Turkey, Snow skiing in parts of Canada and US: across the Rockie Mountains (Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho and Montana). I don't mind giving feedback to the owners to enhance their apt. I sometimes travel alone and I prefer a very safe place.
My (2) former colleagues at work introduced me to Airbnb, now there are several of them now working at Airbnb. I definitely look forward in booking again. My motto in life "Friendship is the golden thread that ties the heart of all the word" ~ John Evelyn and the other one is "Life is too short, enjoy it to the fullest to each day!" cheers, Patti
