We had a great weekend in this simple but very nice beach view apartment. The hosts were very friendly and had some great tips about the neighborhood. Several beach walks and the evening in the cozy apartment; Ideal for a weekend break!
Me and my boyfriend decided to spend New Years Eve in Paris, and we wanted to stay close to the center. The cosy little flat is located perfectly with many opportunities within walking distance. We picked up the key not far from the flat and the description Frederic had given us, was easy to follow. All communication with Frederic is great and he is very helpful with recommendations and more. A huge box of chocolate was waiting for us in the flat, as a loving welcome! Everything worked for us and we would warmly recommend this flat. Thank you.
Frederic was out of town when I arrived but arranged for a friend to show me his flat and give me the key. Location is very good and flat is typically small for the area but serviceable. The WiFi and washing machine were in good working order as well which were important to me as I was in Paris on Business.
Frederic's appartment is very conveniently located in a nice and central area of paris, and he was very good with communication!! Thank you Frederic!!!
I ended up not staying here, so I cannot comment on the apartment; but I will say that Frederic seems to be very greedy and untrustworthy. There was a mix up in the reservation and I contacted Airbnb to fix it. We both tried to contact him immediately to clarify it, but he refused to communicate with either us or airbnb. I would not stay at any place he hosts.
The reservation was canceled 9 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We had a great stay in Paris for more than two weeks. The apartment was perfectly centrally located for us to explore all parts of Paris while relaxing and taking time to simply enjoy the delights of Paris. It is also in a great neighbourhood with plenty of cafes, boulangeries, fromageries, hundreds of other shops, and the Forum Les Halles for any other shopping needs, Metro, and cinemas (2 minutes away). The Louvre and Notre Dame are a 15 minute walk away. We got fitter with living on the second floor/no lift. It was great. Frederic helped us with our bags when we arrived.
Frederic was hard to contact at times; however, airbnb was fantastic in facilitating (website hidden) was not connected. However, use of wifi, hairdryer, and some wardrobe space was very convenient.
The apartment is, as Frederic states, cute, cozy. Had great shower pressure and hot water with a washing machine. We were happy to be in this neighbourhood in this part of Paris. Sofa bed would sleep two, but three not really practical in this apartment.
The host canceled my reservation 15 days before arrival.
Fred was great to deal with and though we didn't get to meet him, everything ran really smoothly with the handover of the keys. The apartment was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. It made our stay in Paris just perfect. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.
Frederic's apartment is perfectly located in an artsy and eclectic part of town. Tons of restaurants and shopping; close enough to many tourist attractions, yet in an area that gives you a very local experience. Very easy access from the train stations as the Metro stop is around the corner from the apartment.
Inside, the apartment is spacious enough for two people, well decorated (modern), and clean. Linens and towels provided, but do bring your own toiletries like soap, shampoo, etc.
Frederic was also very helpful in suggesting trendy night spots and places to eat, and was even able to get us a reservation at a restaurant that usually requires five days advance notice.
Fabulous overall experience; I'd stay there for a month if I could:)
Very friendly guest that kept the place spotless. Highly recommended! We look forward to hosting you again in the future!
