Born in Montana, raised on the Oregon coast, lived and worked a year in Seattle, but mostly Eugene was my home for more than 30 years before moving to La Pine in December 2011. This forested home, the drier climate, and everything there is to do and see year round in Central Oregon was what brought me here. (Please see the guide map). I enjoy boating, hiking, sightseeing, winter sports, and relaxing here in the forested countryside. I call myself a "woodsy" because I feel most at home living around trees.
Hosting Airbnb provides me the opportunity to meet a variety of interesting travelers from around the world. My part-time flexible work and volunteer schedules allow me the time to help guests get their day started by serving breakfast and assisting with itinerary planning, as much or as little as they would like.
I am a budget-minded traveler and offer an affordable alternative to motels on the highway. When I travel I want a safe, clean, quiet, comfortable place to sleep, shower, and eat. All this is provided to you as my guests plus travel tips from someone that has been there to help your stay be more enjoyable.
