Great place and wonderful location! A bit of noise from the pub below but we expected that. Everything was as advertised and we would stay there again.
Fantastic!!! The apartment was as advertised, right across the river from Notre Dame, it was so close to most if not all attractions we never even bothered with the Metro because we could walk to everything. There are cafes, pastry shops, fromagier, and several markets all on the same block. Cafe Panis has a fantastic continental breakfast and with Le Metro across the street there is so much to see, do, eat, and just relax - if and when we go back to Paris, we hope to stay here again.
Few words to the wise, there is a pub downstairs which attracts idiot Americans and dumbass brits who wish to hoop, holler, and scream all night long. Several times occupants of the building (including us) had to shout down for them to quiet down or leave and the person who ran the cafe did nothing to assist. Finally, the pub closed and they moved on. This is not a reflection on the apartment, more like an FYI - most nights it was quiet enough.
The windows are sooooo amazing they keep out like 95% of the sounds below. The washer worked well as did all other appliances.
The apartment was perfect for us. It is beautiful, modern, and had all of the comforts of home! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect location. Christophe was accommodating and very flexible. Such a great experience. We can't wait to come back! Highly recommended.
The appartment is really good and Christophe is very nice. He received us very well and helped us when we need.
The location is amazing. We have walk a lot because everthing was near to us. It's also an excelent area to eat. There is a lot of young people over there.
We had everthing we needed to have a great time, because the appartment is very well equipped.
We rented this beautiful and clean apartment for one month. The furniture is cool and very practical and gives the apartment a cozy atmosphere.
But the most important thing in Paris is the location of an apartment - and this one is located in a perfect place!
At the Place Maubert you will find everything you need (bakery, butcher, fruit dealer, taxi, metro) and from there you can reach the best areas and attractions also on foot with no problem.
Christophe Lechevallier was a very friendly host. Everything worked out very well.
We can recommend this apartment without any reservation.
This was a fantastic vacation, and the apartment absolutely added to my enjoyment of my 4-week Paris stay. First of all, Christophe was very welcoming, met me at the door and helped me with my bags -- something I did not expect. Second, the apartment was just as it appeared in the posting, only better. The light was great and views from the big double windows picture-perfect. You look directly onto a (email hidden) Germaine, and can see over to the farmer's market. The apartment is newly renovated and very clean. Cable and internet connections were flawless. Plenty of hot water for showers.
The common halls of the building were kept clean, as was the trash room, and neighbors seemed polite and responsible. The location is possibly the best in Paris! Fabulous farmers market 3X week, great gourmet food stores and an abundance of international restaurants - most very reasonably priced. The metro is directly across the street, as well as a cab stand and buses, and so many major attractions a short walk away.
The layout is great if you are going to have guests sleeping in the living room (which I didn't ) as your bedroom is off the entry foyer, and the bathrooms are "separated" meaning shower is in one room, and toilet in another, both off the foyer.
Americans: do understand that 3rd floor in France means 4th floor in America. There are pleasant landings at each level, so the walk up was never bothersome.
It was a real pleasure to host Christophe, a guest really delicious and polite. He left the apartment in perfect condition. Really recommend Christophe to all. Hope to see him again. Francesca
