What a great location! We needed a place to stay not too far from Lincoln Square and found this location about a $5 UberX ride away. The apartment was exactly as described in the listing, and we ended up having breakfast, lunch and a late dinner at various eateries on Clark St. when we weren't otherwise occupied. Maria's recommendations of Hopleaf and Svea were particularly good choices.
We had been considering a hotel downtown, and are so glad we checked Airbnb and found this place. Oh, and thanks for the peaches!
Maria's apartment was safe, cozy, clean and comfortable. The location was amazing with many shops and restaurants in nearby. The bakery downstairs was a treat every morning! We also enjoyed the very nice fully furnished kitchen and dining area. Free parking easy to find both in front and beside the building.
Maria made check in and out simple and it was easy to contact her by email and phone. We appreciated her willingness to stop by to meet us and give us specific information about the area.
We would definitely choose to stay at Maria's place again!
Maria was so kind to accommodate a last-minute stay at her bright, beautifully-decorated one-bedroom apartment. It was clean, cozy, and very comfortable, even in the midst of a warm Chicago summer! We loved Andersonville, which has dozens of cute coffee shops, antique stores, and great restaurants to choose from. I highly recommend a stay with Maria!
I'm so sorry you left them behind...I ate them :) Next time you're in Chicago, I'd love to have chance to return the goodies :)
We were fortunate to find such suitable accommodations within walking distance of our family members’ residence as well as to the shopping and dining in Andersonville. The bakery next door was great for morning coffee. We were truly on vacation! Maria’s apartment is very clean, inviting, and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Heart Andersonville and hope to book again for our next trip to Andersonville.
I had a lovely stay. The apartment is very pleasant and Maria a good host. I especially liked that I was in easy walking distance of restaurants and shopping. My only suggestion would be to have a map of the local area with ideas for restaurants and other amenities. Thank you Maria!
That us excellent feedback! Thank you
Maria was a gracious host and really made our trip. Her apartment is perfect: in a great location with a gym nearby that she helped me access, the apartment was warm and comfortable in face of some of Chicago's lowest temperatures and she left nice things like soaps and eggs and some local coupons. What more could you ask for!?
I would stay there again for sure. A wonderful experience.
Great place, great location, and Maria is terrific. A wee problem with the wifi when I was there, but Maria worked quickly and diligently to make sure I had access to the outside world (even managing to keep her temper with the oafs from the local cable company) -- which was particularly important given the snowfall and frigid temps in Chicago that week. Anyway, if you're not familiar with Chicago, Andersonville is a great spot, and Maria's place is two short blocks from tons of great pubs, restaurants, foodie shops and local wares. Highly recommended.
Great place exactly as pictured on AirBnB. Maria is an excellent host and made us feel right at home. Would definitely rebook if back in the area.
Maria was an absolutely wonderful host. Very warm, accommodating and easy to get ahold of. The location can't be beat, and the apartment is just lovely. Would definitely stay here again!
It was such a pleasure having Maria her for a few days. What a sweet and friendly young woman. She is polite, clean and respectful and we highly recommend her to all our air bnb friends out there. We would love to see her again some day.
