Loves running, cooking, and New Orleans!
Skylar has created a beautiful space and is a delightful host. She is responsive and easy to access. Her apartment is absolutely beautiful - right out of Elle Decor and in a terrific location just between the French Quarter and the Warehouse District. We enjoyed five days at Skylar's apartment where we biked from to the Jazz Fest, and were excited to have a cool and relaxing refuge at the end of the day.
My boyfriend and I traveled to New Orleans for an anniversary weekend as well as to enjoy the festivities of Mardi Gras. Communication with Skylar from the point of booking till even after our arrival was easy and comfortable. Her apartment is as beautiful as shown and we easily felt at home. We knew the location was good but it becomes even more apparent when you get there. The apartment is a short walk to Bourbon St but it is far enough from that craziness that we felt like we could get away from it when we wanted. I couldn't have found a better place to stay on our visit and look forward to possibly staying at Skylar's in the future.
The room location and cleanliness was excellent. Made our stay most enjoyable.
This rental was even better than advertised. Very nicely furnished and perfectly located close to the French Quarter but without the noise and crowds. From the beginning, our host was helpful providing directions and flexibility for our arrival. The condo is nicely furnished and there is no shortage of quality in any area. Look forward to going back.
The apartment was very nice - just as described. It was walking distance to the French Quarter, convention center, public transportation, and other sites. Skylar is responsive with emails and texts.
Great, self contained apartment very close to the French Quarter and city centre. Public transport is very accessible. Great host, all amenities provided. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!
skylar's place is the bee's knees of new orleans! look no further if you want class and simplicity, with a twist of cajun. this is a clean and efficient, safe and private home nearby all the action. my highlight of the early morning was looking out the tall windows into the historical business district, sipping a fresh cup of coffee, and watching the vintage 1920's electric streetcar pass by. there is easy access to a delightful breakfast at the p&g restaurant and the infamous doreen's new orlean's jazz band plays right down the street on royal. you won't be disappointed, book your reservations today.
This is a great location and I can't say enough about how impeccable of a host Skylar is.
This is my first time using Airbnb and my first visit to New Orleans and I must say, I am not disappointed!
Reached out to Skylar and received a response within the hour.
The accommodation is exactly as pictured, modern, clean and contains all the necessary amenities.
Modern elevator building, beautiful exposed brick, safe family-friendly neighborhood.
As previously reviewed, the location is perfectly positioned a couple blocks away from the "spirit" of all things New Orleans.
While there, I was able to rent a bike at the corner of the apartment building and cycle my way around New Orleans.

New Orleans is an amazing city. There is so much to see and do but my favorite memories of this trip are of just walking around and taking it all in - the smells, the sights, the tiny alleys, grand mansions and ivy-covered courtyards.
Skylar's lovely apartment was the perfect launching spot for this. Close enough to the French Quarter for it to be convenient but far enough away to make sure the noise/craziness didn't follow you home.
The apartment itself was clean, stylish, well-stocked and comfortable to stay in. Skylar is a gracious and generous host.
Extremely hassle free and fantastic location. Perfect location in the New Orleans Central Business District. Definitely hope to stay here again if I end up back in New Orleans!
