Marcus apartment was great overall!
Near to Galluswarte train station, near to a supermarket and walking distance from the city center (around 1,5km).
Even though I didn't get a chance to meet him (he was on vacation) I was really happy with the experience. He left instructions notes and food at the fridge which made me feel more welcome.
Marcus was an amazing host. He was very flexible with my arrival/departure time and gave me clear instructions on how to get from the airport to his home. I appreciate that he gave me his annual ticket for the botanical garden so I could enter for free. He also took the time to make breakfast in the morning before he went to work.
Marcus home in a nice quiet area close to the main station is a very pleasant place to stay. Marcus is a really nice guy with tons of knowledge about trains and the german railway system. The communication upon arrival worked well, we arrived nearly the same minute at his place. The place is comfy, the room is very large and I got some good coffee in the morning. I can definitely recommend Marcus as a host!
It's a wonderful journey to live in Marcus's home. We arrived at Frankfurt around 22:20, Marcus came to the s-bahn station to picked us up, and helped us to carry our luggages. It's just a detail in the less than 12 hours we were together. Though we stayed in Frankfurt one night, obviously, Marcus is a careful and friendly friend. Staying in his home makes me feel just like in my own house.
About the location, it takes several minutes to go to the s-bahn from Marcus's home. Just one station away from the main station.
About the environment, it's clear. The apartment was warm and sweet. And very quiet. There are hair drier and hot water kettle. They are necessary electrical equipments for us. He also made breakfast for us, an authentic western breakfast. Additionally he gave us the tickets to a park and shared lots of practical experience about this city and this country.
At last, thanks Marcus.
Alles super. Entspannter Aufenthalt.
Unfortunately I didn't meet Marcus during my stay since he was away for work. But he still went for the extra mile helping me check in without much difficulty. His son was really chilled as well. I really loved the furniture and decorations because everything they had really make me feel like home
Great location, 5 min walk to the station which takes you to the central station (only one stop) although we only saw Marcus on the first night he is very friendly and hospitable. Breakfast is also included which is great and room is very big and spacey. Highly recommended but make sure you have Marcus's mobile number and your phone switched on to keep in regular contact if he is not home at the time of your arrival!
Marcus was a great host - very friendly and accommodating. He offered me beer upon my arrival and cooked breakfast for me the morning of my departure. The room is large and very comfortable. Definitely recommended.
Marcus is a fantastic host. Other than ensuring that I had a comfortable stay with loads of information about Frankfurt and Mainz, I appreciate that he also brought me to Palmengarten and shared a nice afternoon with his family there. I also had a blast at an open-day event at Frankfurter Feldbahnmuseum (locomotive museum), where Marcus worked and therefore invited me over.
Throughout my stay, the room and its facilities are good. The nearby S-Bahn and Tram station made it easy for me to explore Frankfurt as well. All in all, Marcus made it a memorable experience for me at Frankfurt.
