I grew up in Northern Vermont, spending a good deal of time in Saxtons River with my grandparents. I lived in NYC and Brooklyn for a number of years and when it felt timely to leave I made my way back to Saxtons River, as I could think of no other place that possessed the solid charm and perfect balance between the middle of nowhere and the urban living I sought a change from. I bought a farm house and started growing flowers for cutting.
Living here, it's everything I imagined it would be.
As a 6th generation Vermonter (and a sometime New Yorker who craved trips to VT), I paid special attention to detail while creating THE GOOD HOUSE COTTAGE, imagining myself as a traveler, culling from experiences in my own travels, I have made every effort to piece together a little haven in this magical corner of VT.
