Sono di Roma, amo viaggiare
La anfitriona fue muy amable y estuvo siempre bien predispuesta para cualquier cosa que necesite.
The reservation was canceled 7 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We were staying at Caterina's place from the 7th of October to the 16th of October. The flat is situated on a quiet street. Alessandra met us as it was told by Caterina. She had shown us everything and helped us to know how use everything. The flat has 2 rooms and there is everything what you might need for a comfortable stay.
It is 10 min by feet to the market and 5 to the local supermarket.
In 5 minutes. There is a lot of infrastructure ( pizza etc).
Overall fine BUT!!
1)there is no microwave oven
2) the oven is not working
3) hot running water is going badly
Lovely spacious flat with home made jam and pesto in the fridge! Thank you.
Very quiet street,, walking distance to all the old Rome, spacious and comfortable. Loved it.
When we arrived, the apartment was not ready and Caterina’s friend who introduced us rushed through the room to replace towels and linen. We noticed that the toilet seat was broken off and placed next to the toilet; no big thing as we only had to put it back on. But it was the overall condition of the apartment, which could have been better prepared for new guests. However, the apartment is located in a nice neighborhood and within walking distance (10 minutes) from the Termini Train Station. While the size and location of the apartment is pleasant, the overall condition, particularly the bathroom, is rather poor (rust, broken off tiles, mold). Another disadvantage of the apartment is that the basement room is very humid (there are two dehumidifier) with little air circulation, which gives the room an unpleasant smell. We would not recommend this place unless the owner is fixing the bathroom and gives the apartment a good clean.
Caterina is lovely to deal with and very responsive. Her friend Alessandra who met us for keys and info was equally great. We enjoyed our stay in the unit, it was comfortable and has all amenities. The garden is a bonus too. Nice street. Location was good, close to the Colosseum and Roman Forum, main train station and metro all 10-15 minutes walk away. Thanks Caterina and Alessandra.
It certainly was a basement flat - we knew it, but we were a bit disappointed: smaller and darker than the pictures showed, and kitchen and bathroom didn't seem very proper. The advantage of a basement flat: cool, when it's hot outside. Good bed, quiet street, that was ok.
Caterina's apartment was very large and comfortable, close to the Termini and the subway line that connects Rome. We mostly appreciated that it was in a very quiet location, as opposed to other places that we had stayed at on our trip. The bed is very comfortable and the garden area was very pleasant. Caterina was a great host and my girlfriend and I would definitely stay there again.
Caterina and her boyfriend are a very friendly and nice couple. It was a pleasure to host them. They are very clean and tidy, lovely to have them as guests in your apartment!
Caterina and her boyfriend were great guests! Caterina stayed at my place for four nights. Everything went very well, from the first messages right up to her stay. There were no problems during those four days and, when I came back, the house was absolutely impecable. I would highly recommend them to anyone on airbnb as great guests.
Caterina’s apartment is very nice and cosy, great living room with barrel vault, spacious bedroom, a nice kitchenette and a small but very comfortable bathroom. If the weather is good (which is most of the times in Italy!) you can enjoy your coffee sitting at the table in the little terrace/garden. The apartment is very close to Termini Train Station (you can walk from there in 10 minutes), the Manzoni Metro Station (line A, the one going to San Pietro), the commercial San Giovanni area, and the lively San Lorenzo area. It is well equipped and, despite being in the basement, it is full of light thanks to the big windows behind the kitchenette and the bathroom. I would recommend it for a short or for a longer stay. I am sure, you will feel like being ‘at home’. Enjoy!
