Fantastic place to stay! The location is perfect - close to an amazing park, grocery stores, and the subway. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed and more. Sandra was very friendly and responsive.
From the first contact with Sandra at booking to our last goodbye as we left, There is nothing I can fault. Sandra is very friendly and accommodating. The apartment is even better than the photographs , is spotlessly clean and fully equipped for a family. The location is perfect for the subway and tram so if you get bored of the local area then transport into the city is easy. Quiet street just off a main street filled with lots of different eateries and across from a great park with a fantastic community spirit.
As Sandra says in the listing, downstairs has 2 areas which are lower but you just duck.
It's the little things that make a difference such as putting our names on the doorbell, having a welcome folder with local information which makes you feel like a house guest. Thanks Sandra and Aarron, we will be back.
We absolutely loved our stay! My husband, 15 month old son, and I recently traveled to Toronto from PEI and were hesitant about finding a safe and toddler friendly place to stay. Sandra's apartment was a dream! Incredibly spacious, air conditioned, very close to a mall with a grocery store, and just one block away from the most amazing park we've ever been too (Dufferin Grove Park). Charlie (our son) had a blast on his first trip away from home which helped us have a great time too! Sandra and Aaron were both very friendly and incredibly accommodating. We look forward to another visit to Toronto someday and will definitely be hoping to stay here again!
Sandra's apartment is always well prepared to receive my family. The nearby park is the best in Toronto not to mention the Dufferin Grove market. Thank you again Sandra!
We had a great time staying at Sandra's house - the location is fantastic - especially for families with kids... Super close to the park and all amenities, and the backyard is a little oasis that our daughter just loved. Sandra was great to deal with and was quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommended!
Sandra was quick to respond and easy to communicate with before and throughout our stay. She welcomed us warmly and showed us around the house upon arrival. After spending only a few minutes with her that first night my 2.5 year old son continued to refer to her as 'that nice lady' for the duration of our stay :)
The place was exactly as described and perfect for our needs on this visit. We chose it particularly for its proximity to Dufferin Grove Park (awesome playground and many neat community events/programs) and for the great deck and back yard so our son could get lots of outdoor play time. Spacious, quiet, all amenities provided, and a cool refreshing haven to come home to after long hot city summer days. My husband is tall and had to duck downstairs as there are some low spots, but he managed well. Great location, easy TTC access, and almost every night we found a parking spot right out front. All three of us enjoyed our stay. Thanks Sandra!
The host greeted us early in the AM after our first night, since we got in a little late! She's super friendly and very easy to get ahold of!!
The actual place was convenient and spacious! The bathroom was remodeled for sure and is very nice!! We were a little bummed we couldn't watch NBA finals game 5, but that's what happens when you travel!
The neighborhood is quaint with a cute park but other then that it's very suburban with maybe only a few shops here and there. There was a great Icecream Sammy place and a Vietnamese place that was yummy though (both are 10mim walks). Little know thing: almost everything in Toronto opens late in the AM (most places aren't open till 9am; even breakfast); and a lot of them are only open certain days (3-4 days a week)! So weird!
Incredible stay. Toronto is neighbourhood. This place is perfectly suitable to explore the soul of Toronto. Everything just went fine, perfect & easy. Sandra is such a lovely great host. She made everything more then perfect, you can feel that she is a real "Pro". We felt blessed to have a stay like this. Thank you so much dear Sandra. All the best and greetings from Kingston!
This was truly a place to call a home away from home! The B&B is a nicely renovated older brick house situated on a lovely tree lined residential street, close to shopping, parks, and charming restaurants. We had the entire ground floor with full kitchen, dining, living room and fully finished basement bedroom and bathroom. All our needs where thought of and everything was spotlessly clean and tidy. When we arrived our host had our names on the doorbell. She also thoughtfully provided a binder with all kinds of helpful information including some great recommendations on place to eat nearby. We felt so comfortable staying there and look forward to staying again. Many thanks for a great stay!
Sandra's place was in a great area of Toronto, close to the subway, a beautiful park - it couldn't have been more convenient. She put our first names on the buzzer which immediately made us feel at home when we arrived. Bright and roomy and well-maintained with a cute little backyard space. It was a memorable stay!
It was great to meet Sandra's Dad and have him as our guest. Seeing him enjoying the sun and newspaper on the front porch and visiting family comfortably was lovely. We look forward to having more great conversations about politics and media in the future. A lovely guest!
Sandra and Aaron were great guest this summer at our little cabin . Great communication before and during stay and left the cabin in perfect condition.
