I am a freelance Classical Oboist and music teacher.
I play and teach the piano, trumpet, saxophone and oboe.
When I am not teaching or playing in an orchestra I am always seen travelling to some exotic destination.
I have dived in the Galapagos with whale sharks and schools of hammerheads, climbed the macchu pichu and endured the challenges of the Himalayas in Nepal, seen the pyramids on a camel, and floated in the dead sea. I have back-packed through Vietnam, tubed down a river in Laos and eaten in the back streets of bangkok. I went on a music tour through central Europe, enjoyed architecture and degustation dinners in Barcelona, seen musicals in Broadway and enjoyed the serenity of Boston. When I can't think of a place to go, I just jump on a week long liveaboard boat and enjoy scuba diving in untouched reefs.
Besides travelling, eating is my next hobby. I love good food and wine. Back at home I love entertaining friends and family and I also enjoy trying out the "talked about" restaurants whether it be a hole in the wall or a 10 course degustation dinner with matching wines.
I love hands on experience, adventure and I love animals. I grew up on a farm surrounded by horses, a pet pig, chickens, a pet sheep and goat, a few cows and wild kangaroos.
I am savvy with my finances (so I can splurge when I need) but generous to others. I am a happy, positive and bubbly girl who loves meeting new people. I am also "what you see is what you get" - I am direct/honest and always happy to engage in interesting conversation.
I am new to airbnb but am lucky to have found such an interesting way of travelling!
Thanks for reading on to try to get to know me, and I look forward to meeting you (and staying at your accomodation!)
