I loved this place. The location is excellent - very close to where I use to live - close to the metro and many bars, restaurants, supermarket.
The flat is really charming, full of history. I loved the paintings... :)
Congratulations for making her story alive and to live in such a charming place.
What a little gem in the middle of Paris. It is about 5 minutes walk from the Bastille square and underground station. Entry is through a large courtyard where a magnolia tree was blooming on our arrival. This is literally an artist studio with canvasses stored to one side of the bedroom. The apartment has two very lage rooms with large picture windows letting in light with a view over the courtyard. The apartment is spacious, clean and well appointed. The bathroom is very modern and includes a washing machine. The hosts Gaspard and Eva are a delightful, young couple who were very attentive to all our inquiries and were available by phone to answer any of our queries during our stay. The bed is very comfortable. Being an old building there is no lift however their are only a few flights of stairs to the apartment and Gaspard assisted us with our suitcases. I would recommend this apartment to anyone wishing to have a unique adventure in the city of love.
Gaspard was a great host and I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and authentic stay in Paris. His apartment is wonderful, quiet and perfectly located.
We had great weekend in Gaspard apartment. Firstly his welcome was warm and friendly, gives us the feel it is our home and we can feel cozy in it(:
The tips he share with us before our arrive (send us via email before we came) were great help also.
The stay was warm and homey and his grandmother arts were beautiful and contribute to our experience.
We thank Gaspard for his hospitality and the opportunity to stay in his place and recommend it to others
The apartment was really clean and in a great location with great bars, great bakery and winding streets really close by. Gaspard wasn't there to meet us in person, but it was really easy to figure out how everything worked in the apartment so we settled in really well. There was always had hot water in the shower and the kitchen was really well equipped. Thanks for letting us stay in your lovely apartment.
We had a great time and highly recommend Gaspard's historic and art-filled apartment for a stay in Paris. From the start, Gaspard was very helpful with great communication, lots of details and tips. The initial key drop was in person and the brief instruction about the apartment's features and quirks proved quite useful. Communication in English was excellent, so that was a good thing as our French is limited. During our four nights in the apartment, we slept well with comfortable bedding and bed, enjoyed dining in the small kitchen area, found the space (with really high ceilings and lots of light) easily roomy enough for two, enjoyed the art from Gaspard's family member on display (and the history of this -- included in a nice gift book we received), and -- best of all -- loved the easy access to Paris by foot. It is also very easy to get to the subway, which we took from the airport. This clean and nicely decorated and organized apartment is right in the middle of everything. Staying there gave us a real sense of what it is like to live in Paris. The neighborhood is a vibrant one for sure! And that created the only small downside to mention -- on the weekends it gets a little noisy in the area at night, especially with dance music from a nearby club. That was just a small blip in our stay. Overall, this was a truly wonderful experience and an excellent value.
We had an amazing stay in Gaspard's apartment. Location is great and the apartment is very cozy and equipped with all your needs. We only med Gaspard for a brief moment for a quick rundown of the apartment, but he seems like a very friendly, humble and genuine guy. All in all a good experience and superb value for money.
Very nice place and super central! You can walk pretty much everywhere from here! Gaspard is a very nice host and communications with him were easy. I recommend you highly to stay at his place for your holidays in Paris!
We has a great stay in this apartment. Beautiful
My partner and I had a 3 week stay in Gaspard's lovely apartment. From the moment that I contacted Gaspard things ran smoothly- he was a wonderful host and quick to reply (even whilst overseas on holidays). The apartment itself is wonderful. It is filled with charm and is extremely spacious. Located ideally in the bustling Bastille the apartment is close to a myriad of bars, bistros, cafes, shops and is within walking distance of all of Paris' main attractions (of course if your feet are too sore from walking it is only minutes walk away from the Metro). By the end of our stay we considered Gaspard's apartment our home away from home and found it very hard to leave! Thank-you Gaspard for your wonderful hospitality!
The cow on the couch, and the juice, that has the vitamin c , unlike the Jew, I will always remember the English lessons of Evi, Gaspard picked up the best books on the shelves, with acrimonious scholarly punctuality I resented it a little bit, but then I thought I will never read them again, less them circulate, so what can I say, they are an eccentric couple, I loved them, I hope to see them again. ,
Accueillir Gaspard aura été un véritable plaisir !
Everything went fine and we are happy we had Gaspard as a guest!
A very nice couple. Keen to explore the Loire Valley chateaus whilst staying with us. Lively and fun. Amazing how many airbnbers are always interesting, NEVER boring and have tales to tell. I guess by steering clear of hotels we all have an 'exploring' nature. Anyway, we would have Gaspard and his girlfriend back anytime.
