I've lived in London for over 20 years, ever since starting University. I live with my partner James who is an actor/singer and I work in actor training. Spare time is spent socialising with friends, going to the theatre/cinema, visiting family, bike rides, travelling and food! I love eating in new restaurants and trying new cuisine and I'm also a good cook so am always experimenting. My favourite restaurant at the moment is a tiny Thai place in Brixton Market called Kaosarn - the most authentic food and wonderful staff. I tend to listen to music mostly when I'm cooking - my taste is eclectic, from my teenage devotion to The Smiths to most music nowadays (apart from Heavy Metal!). My particular favourite at the moment is Thomas Tallis. I've travelled a lot and seen most of Europe as well as parts of America, Asia and Australia. My favourite moment of all was snorkelling on the Barrier Reef, it was the most fantastic experience. I also love to visit Paris and New York, they have such individual energies that I've never experienced anywhere else. I'm an avid reader and flip between novels (classic and contemporary) and autobiographies. As a HUGE tennis fan I loved reading John McEnroe and Andre Agassi's books and otherwise a great novel for me is anything by Patrick Gale, Sarah Waters or Anne Tyler.
I'm an easy going traveller, very adaptable and enjoy all the experiences that come with visiting different countries. I've often stayed in very small hotels or as a guest in someone's property and really enjoy the authentic and personal experience that this can offer.
