I am a multimedia artist, dj, musician and traveller. My work has been exhibited in too many places around the globe, and I keep moving!! It is always good to share with new mates who, like me, are moving all the time through the world.

The apartment is in a great spot, as long as you don't mind often quite loud traffic noise. It becomes white noise after a little while. If you're sensitive to light, you might need to string up something over the doors, as they are glass and the lights in the bathroom/lounge areas fill your room also. Ernesto was very respectful of privacy and gave a little tour of the area when I arrived. Other than that, he wasn't interested in talking much so this will suit if you're after time to yourself.
La habitacion es ruidosa, Avda. Insurgentes es una de las avenidas principales de Mexico; la habitacion tiene una puerta de cristal que comunica con el baño ( se oye todo y se ve la luz) y encontré la casa muy solitaria.
I had a really great stay at Ernesto's apartment! It's in a perfect location right between la Condesa and la Roma, and the building is a beautiful, pink, art decco-style like he mentions in the description. Ernesto was very friendly and helpful about recommending restaurants in the neighborhood and helping me get to the airport, and, otherwise, he gave a lot of space and privacy. I loved the bedroom and the kitchen, and the shower even has hot water in it -- a treat! If you're not used to a fourth-floor walk-up or have certain health problems, then that's maybe the only thing that might be somewhat difficult, but, otherwise, it's really a perfect place. There's a bakery right downstairs (so it always smells delicious!), and there's a whole range of different restaurants and stores in the neighborhood. A lot of things stay open late in the neighborhood, so there are always people out, meaning it's safe -- even as a woman alone -- to go out late or walk around. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Mexico City, and I would absolutely love to stay here again if I come back! Thank you so much, Ernesto!!
Ernesto was a great host -
He was willing to help me figure out the city and also very respectful of space. If you plan on traveling around the city - this place is extremely convenient - as there is a Metrobus stop across the street.
Ernesto was a gracious host that showed me around Condesa and provided a great deal of support and pointers for travels within the DF.
Ernesto is a super good guy-he took me on a tour of the neighborhood and showed me all the good places to go. If you want to get to know a friendly local, this would be a great place to stay. There is a fair amount of noise from the street and Cuban bar, and I am a light sleeper-but surprisingly, I was able to sleep very well. I think the constant noise was light "white" background noise and I slept beautifully. If you need ultra modern plumbing, this may not be the place for you.
Ernesto is an excellent host! He provided a lot of help and he's interesting. And the apartment is comfortable and well-located. You have everything around, including a metrobús stop.
This apartment is great value for the money. It is in a good neighbourhood, close to lots of restaurants and parks, and on the metrobus line. Also close to the Insurgentes metro stop. Remarkably quiet for such a busy street. The double windows help.
The building in a good example of Art Deco architecture.
I had the place to myself, as Ernesto was out of town, which was a bonus for me. I would like to meet Ernesto, but I did like the privacy. He arranged for someone to let me in.
Make sure to ask for the Wifi password (which he gave me via email).
The floor has some loose boards.
It is on the 4th floor, so quite a walk up (OK for me and quieter with no-one overhead).
The Cuban place across the street goes late on weekends, but not too loud. (bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper like me).
Overall I would recommend this apartment very highly.
My first AirBnB stay made me a believer.
Ernesto was a wonderful host and very kindly showed me around the neighborhood when I arrived. The location is great - right between Roma and Condessa, so there are endless restaurants, shops, cafes, and galleries to enjoy. A great place to spend a few days in DF.
Very nice flat and very well located. Ernesto is very friendly. When I go back to Mexico, I call him
Ernesto and his girlfriend Ana were great guests!
