I am a semi-retired private piano teacher, married to David Myers, a photographer. We love to travel and photograph nature with a special interest in butterflies. I like to create art quilts and we have a home filled with various examples of our work. We love learning new things, trying new foods and recipes, and, in fact, are just starting down a new semi-vegan diet which has produced some satisfying results. We enjoy meeting new people. A good conversation and a fine glass of wine is our idea of a perfect way to spend an evening.
David plays chamber music with a string quartet with rehearsals every other week. I enjoy accompanying soloists and just gave a house concert with two flutists in mid-September. We hike a fair amount and love to tent camp. We have just returned from a four week trip to Colorado and Utah where we went rafting on the Green River, camped in Rocky Mountain National Park, and stayed in a cabin in Zion National Park.
My husband has one more year of teaching photography at the local college. After that we plan to see as much of the world as we can. In the meantime we hope to share our beautiful view and town with as many people as possible.
