We are an easy-going creative couple in our early 30's. We love traveling, music, movies, cooking, drinking wine, hangin' out , and just plain-old having a good time.
The host canceled my reservation 4 days before arrival.
I was a little reluctant to post something because this place is a treasure. Audrey was the most helpful, warmhearted, generous host you can have. The apartment was very clean and as they titled it, COZY~ I would definitely love to stay there again. Thank you so much Audrey and Nick. You both are wonderful.
The apartment was very comfortable and clean. Everything was as represented and expected. While we didn't have the pleasure of meeting Audrey & Nick the arrangements to obtain the key from their neighbor worked out fine. In fact later in our stay she brought over freshly prepared apple cobbler which was excellent.
We would gladly spend a week at their apartment again (if they would have us!) and recommend them without any reservation.
Thanks so much!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for Open house weekend. Audrey and Nick's apartment was immaculate and fantastic! Marvelous decor, very clean, and lovely quiet location. The airbed was very comfy, and there was a lot of privacy (nicely creative privacy curtain in place, I honestly forgot that there wasn't a wall and door). We were fairly busy so we only saw Nick and Audrey on the morning of arrival, and Audrey woke up and said goodbye to us as we were leaving in the early hours at the end of the weekend. They seem like very kind, creative people. We arrived in the morning and they let us come to drop off our luggage and had no problem with me taking a shower right off the bat (I felt grungey after hours and hours of sitting on a bus!). I would definitely stay with them again, in fact I would be if they weren't busy/away during my next visit to NYC! I do hope I get another chance to stay with them some time in the future. :-)
Our first AirBandB experience was with Audrey and Nick and it couldn't have been better. Unfortunately we did not get to meet Audrey (hopefully next time!) but Nick greeted us with great hospitality and enthusiasm. The apartment is gorgeous and everything was exactly as pictured. The apartment is only 1 block away from subway access which makes hopping over to Manhattan extremely convenient. Nick and Audrey also have maps and guidebooks handy for guests, which were a big help!
We can't say enough nice things about our stay or our experience at Audrey and Nick's! We would definitely recommend their apartment to anyone, and we feel lucky to have stayed there!!!
Our stay at Nick and Audrey's made our first visit to NYC very enjoyable. We especially liked their recommendations for local eating and drinking establishments, and benefitted greatly from their personal experience with living in such a big city. They were very generous. The bed was comfortable. The location of their apartment is optimal for getting around via subway. Their building is safe and secure, and so is the neighborhood. We would most definitely seek them out for a future stay in New York.
The best hosts!
I have wonderful time in NY!
Our stay at Audrey & Nick's apt was amazing! We had a really good time there: First of all because of Audrey, Nick and their cat Moby - all of them are so nice and helpful (maps, great tips for neighbourhood, food, questions and everything!). Secondly, their apt and the bed are cozy, clean and a good place to feel at home after exploring NYC. Moreover, their apt is in a really lovely neighbourhood (safe, interesting people, a lot of restaurants, bars and groceries around) with a good public transport to Manhattan etc.
Thank you so much for everything!
Audrey and Nick - and their apartment - were fantastic! I hardly saw them bc I was out so much, but they were very accommodating, offered me maps, ideas for places to go, and things to eat.
Their apartment is very spacious, clean, and comfortable, and I loved sleeping next to the open window listening to the sounds of Brooklyn.
My next airbnb trip, I might choose a different Brooklyn neighborhood, only because I would prefer to be even closer to Manhattan (esp for commuting at night), but honestly I'm not complaining at all. I had a great time and they were terrific hosts.
If you want to explore Brooklyn - rent a bike! You can cover a lot of ground that way.
Thanks Audrey and Nick!!!
Our first visit ever to New York was absolutely fabulous, mainly due to the wonderful advice and warm hospitality of Nick and Audrey! Thank you so much for making our stay so special.
I loved hosting Audrey & Nick and you will too! Great peeps, super friendly and fun to talk to and of course, they were exemplary guests. I hope they come back through town again or that our paths will cross in the future!
What a delightful experience! I highly recommend the Morrells. My only regret is not meeting them in person, as they seem like absolutely delightful people! The Morrell family stayed with me for a long weekend and took such great care of my home. They left me a very thoughtful gift, I was touched! They are welcome back anytime, and I wish them happy travels!
SIMPLY AMAZING COUPLE!!! THEY LEFT THE APT CLEANER THAN THEY FOUND AND SO RESPECTFUL AND POLITE.wISH THEM THE BEST!
Audrey and Nick were such nice guests! We had a great communication and meeting personally was very interesting. Unfortunately their stay was a bit short, but we hope to visit them soon!
The gift they left at their departure was so appreciated!
Nick and Audrey are great hosts! They are thoughtful, clean, great cooks, and a lot of fun. Their apartment is beautiful and comfortable. My husband and I live in the same building - so we know it is a great location. Close to many train lines, the Brooklyn Museum, the Botanic Gardens, Prospect Park, and tons of great bars, cafes, and restaurants. If I didn't live so close, I'd be tempted to stay on their ottoman myself!
Audrey and Nick are just super nice people with interesting jobs. Their apartment is beautifully decorated with hand made crafts and aud's baked goods are just yummy. The location is near many subway stops and if you're coming to tour, the Brooklyn museum and prospect park is just a skip away. There is a Saturday farmer's market so have a picnic on the park. If that's not your style have brunch at cute places around. The hosts can tell you more fun things around town!
Staying with Audrey and Nick is always a treat. You will not meet a cooler, sweeter, or more accommodating pair. I can vouch that both air mattress and ottoman sleep very well, and that their apartment is even more beautiful in person. It's a great area of Brooklyn, with many awesome neighborhoods all in walking distance. I can guarantee that you will thank yourself for staying there instead of some random hotel.
