Young Ae is a very sweet and accommodating host. She made us feel very welcome and even pointed out a few dining places to us! The room is pretty neat and simple, and the guesthouse is located about 5 mins walk away from the KTX station! Overall a very convenient and nice stay :)
A modest, but perfectly suitable place for a brief pit stop in Seoul. I was there for an 18-hour layover, and it was well-located, right next to the subway station, and was easy to find in the middle of the night. Young Ae Byun was very hospitable and friendly when I arrived too.
Very nice and cosy guesthouse! The toilets are outside so depending on the time of the year it can be quite cold if you have to get up at night. But electric matress warmers make you forget that as soon as you're back in. Young Ae is a great and very kind host, always available when one needs help. The location of the hostel is super good, right in the Sinchon area close to Hongik and Ewha Womans University. Lots of restaurants, bars and shops nearby! Next tram stop is a 2 minutes walk only.
The house is so so so nice as it it located in the middle of city, easy access to the subway, and the Young Ae Byun is so so nice and warm. Definitely a perfect place for female travellers to stay, either alone or with friends. The house is clean and we will definitely stay here again when we come back to Seoul!
Very nice relation and take care me every days ...
Missssssss You....iCOS Guest house...
and See you next time....^___^.....
young Ae is quite friendly and helpful.everyday she comes the guesthouse and check the hot water and air conditioner. And the position is quite great, only 5mins walk from the subway station .this is a really good choice for women or girls ....
The place was very close to a subway station. I liked the hostess and people who were staying there. I really appreciated that the hostess made tteol soup on New Year's day. That was yummy.
The location is very good. Sitting at a quiet alley at Sinchon where has many food outlets and entertainments. Its very near the train station, 3min walking distance I think. Young is a great host, she has sent very detailed routine to help me get there, and her response is like instantly to help me sort out many problems. Even though I arrived quite early and forgot to notice her in advance, she still let me do an early check-in.
The room is cozy, clean and small, the traditional table inside is really cute. they got a lot essentials inside for females, such as mirror and comb, so don't need to fight for the bath room haha. Very considerate:)
However, I think its due to the Hanok design, the room is not so warm, even there is a heating blanket on the floor. And I think there is no hot water after midnight? May be its design to do so to minimise the disturbance for other guests? Cause I'm only staying for one day, so I didn't ask the host at that late hour.
