Pete and I love to eat, walk our dog, Lilli, read a good book, go to the movies, listen to live bands and meet new people! We also ski, (I'm just learning), enjoy a bike ride (Pete's the expert) and own a lovely motorbike and have taken road trips to Canberra and Brisbane. So far, I haven't been too many places although we did live in Seeb, Oman for 6 months! Between us we've visited Vietnam (cycling holiday 2010), Hong Kong (twice now), Vanuatu, Fiji, Singapore and New Zealand (most recently 2012 for skiing). Our latest adventure was in 2012 (big year) to Spain (Madrid and Barcelona), France (the French Riviera for a week during the Cannes Film Festival - missed out on seeing any movie stars) and Italy and Sicily for 8 weeks using Airbnb all the way!. Pete also made it to Japan in 2014 for a couple of weeks of skiing. We both love a good movie and it doesn't really matter about the genre but a good belly laugh is my favourite! We have a number of friends who play in bands, the music ranges from hill billy to rock-a-billy to just plain rock. I play, umpire and mentor hockey and Pete loves to kill himself on his road bike! Me, I just love to score goals!

As guests we are fairly laid back, we just need a decent bed and a hot shower (although I do love a soak!) . Our home is not always the tidiest (two teenage kids still at home and renovations always seem to be happening!), but we love good food and the fridge is always jammed packed full of fruit, veges and a decent eye fillet! When visiting, we always make that extra effort! Keeping the room tidy and helping with the cooking! The conversation is always our favourite though and we really appreciate advice on the best places to see and things to do. We try to travel as lightly as possible and keep our wardrobe pretty basic. We love the idea of Airbnb hosting! It's a fantastic blend of Couchsurfing and staying at a fancy hotel! We'll be hosting as soon as though renovations are finished, inside the house at least!

Life Motto: Live it to the fullest and have fun while getting there!
