Another example of the type of passive aggressive rude messages I received throughout my stay…..
I was also sent a rude personal one along side this review signing off as 'Lastly, I think she could learn how to relax while on vacation.’
This is why I couldn’t relax and was constantly upset by the host. This is an extremely typical example of how she talks to guests. I won't respond to petty attacks on personality/character, as I believe this is unprofessional.
In response to factually incorrect references:
Teresita came to clean the house for an hour a day to which we paid her for 3 hours per day and included a handsome tip. She was extremely lovely. We also left a gift of a fishing kit for her husband and I gave her a pair of leather sandals. Please feel free to ask her.
She didn’t cook as we couldn’t get around the language barrier. Lynn emailed me during my stay to tell me off for not using her despite the fact that she didn’t know we had made further arrangements to compensate her loss.. again micromanagement from the host. It surprises me she didn’t know that we paid for 18 hours and tip.
Lynn did ask me to amend my dates but I couldn’t as she had already confirmed them on the site. I asked her to amend as the host as I didn’t have any access to her booking system. She said she couldn’t so charged the whole stay. I am still waiting for a refund.
Shoes were never in the pool. Hovering out the pool is a gross exaggeration and written for effect. Craig, Alistair, Julio (caretaker) and I cleaned the sandy step in the pool before leaving.
