Arriving in Montreal without knowing anyone or anything, I couldn't have a better place to stay. Clebel and his roommates create some magic that make you feel part of the house (and the family) in 1 second. They share with you all their experience of Montreal, giving all the advise you need, inviting you to join their activities. Your only risk is to be sad to leave them.
The localization is great and to resume the others points, the description is exactly what you get.
I booked a spontaneous trip to Montreal without knowing anything, and luckily I ended up staying with Clebel and his roommates! They were all so friendly and welcoming; they recommended places to go to, walk around, explore--fortunately everything I wanted to see was within walking distance! The location is very convenient and close to a lot of other great neighborhoods. I'm glad I stayed here and got to experience Montreal. Would recommend to all of my friends!
Staying at Clebel's place was my first ever experience living with an airbnb host. I have to say that I really had a great time staying at his place. Eventho' the room is small enough to accommodate me during my stay but the main highlight of my stay was how accommodating were of him and his house mates: Julien and Joe. They really treat me as part of their house mates and starting a conversation with these guys were easy. At some occassions, they manage to bring me out for a breakfast meal at a nearby boulangerie and a late night snack of poutine at one of the famous 24h restaurant in the neighbourhood - which was very nice of them.
The neighbourhood itself is in the Plateau area of Montreal. Its very tranquil and its a walking distance to the metro + restaurant + shopping boulevard the likes of Rue Saint Denis. Clebel did suggest to me to do a bicycle tour of Montreal up to end of La Chaine river which was lovely especiallly i did it on a sunny day!
If you are looking for a place to stay with easy going people in a quiet neighbourhood. Then this is a place for you.
I will definitely come back again for sure.
I had a GREAT stay at Clebel's place. I was visiting Montreal for the first time and couldn't have chosen a better place where to stay. The apartment is very well located, only a two minutes walking from Sherbrooke Station and Lafontaine Park. A fifteen minute walk to downtown. Clebel and his roommates are really friendly and can help you find the places to visit and discover Montreal.
Very nice host, really tries to make one feel at home. Great location. Great little room that has everything one needs. Overall an excellent place for a visit to Montreal or for making a start in Montreal while finding a place for oneself.
We had a great stay! Clebel and his roommates were super friendly and gave us suggestions about where to go and what to do - but also we very much had our own space in the apartment and felt very comfortable there.
The location was AWESOME - we walked everyday from the apartment and could walk all around the plateau, to chinatown and the latin quarter, to mont-royal, and to mile end. The streets around the apartment were beautiful... some residential and others with great bars and restaurants.
Parking was super easy - we found a spot on the street on the same block as the apartment. It was free and we didn't have to move the car.
Overall, we'd highly recommend this place!
Very nice, convivial hosts - all three of them! The room is small, but quite serviceable and decently equipped for the price. Bed was quite comfortable! There was never any noise either, which is important to me, as I like to sleep in. and the WiFi worked great!
Super séjour! Appartement très sympa et bien placé. Merci pour tout et au plaisir de se revoir sur Montréal.
We stayed in Montreal for 5 days and we had a really good time there. Clebel and his roommates were very friendly, we had everything we needed and the apartment is perfectly located - we were recommended delicious restaurants and cafés. I would definitely recommend this place!
Friendly and welcoming! Good tips on local stuff to do and very inviting.
